These are the exact Hotel Chocolat macadamias that stopped being made in 2015/16 !!! I was craving these and wondered if anyone made similar - found these and THEY ARE STUNNING! I've eaten the entire pot already 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am about to re order 2 more - if you ever tasted the HC ones and loved them then these are perfect for you

These cocoa-dusted treats are really tasty, encased in just the right amount of rich cocoa. They're indulgent enough for a quiet evening while unwinding after a long day, yet also great for setting out when family and friends pop round. Although the indulgence might come with a bit of a premium, they are certainly special for a treat or gift. My wife and I often sit by the fireplace sharing a handful, but you'll need to stock up because these won't last long, so it's best to savour each moment (and bite) when you can!

The almonds are exceptionally large and crunchy, delivering a fresh taste, while the milk chocolate is creamy and perfectly balanced in sweetness—truly a delightful treat. It has quickly become my favourite, and I have now subscribed to receive two large bottles every month. I am thrilled to have access to this quality brand in the UK. Please continue your brand Pajoux excellent work; it brings me joy, and the price is absolutely justified. When compared to Meiji and Lotte almond chocolates from Japan, this product stands out as significantly superior. It truly is the best almond chocolate in the world!!!!!

With all the rave reviews on here and Trustpilot, I expected something interesting. Instead I can only describe the experience as bland, the chocolate having no character, creaminess nor flavour: the almonds similarly lacking in the ability to taste like almonds, yet managing to leave a slight bitter aftertaste.One is also left with a waxy mouthfeel, the roof of the mouth coated with something like a vegetable oil and far from the promised "velvet" is more like licking out the air-fryer after making chips.As I've sat here writing this, the aftertaste has become distinctly unpleasant - I've no idea how they can charge £12 for something you couldn't even get kids to eat.Feel like a fool for paying for these.
