I have high arches and find that most generic shoes, including 'comfortable' running shoes, make my feet and whole body unable to relax because they don't have good support.For most of 2023, I wore the ASICS Cumulus. It is more comfortable for high arches than most. But they were always too narrow (I don't have wide feet).The Cumulus 23 & 24 have more cushioning under foot than the Ghost. Some people with high arches may like the idea of that, but after trying the Ghost I don't miss the squishiness of the Cumulus at all. All it does is make your feet sink into the shoes and takes away your ability to spring off whilst walking. The Ghost has gives support to high arches without having to resort to doing away with a solid base.New balance 860 & 880 are not comfortable of you have high arches.So happy to have Brooks available in the UK.

so these trainers are amazing! now I saw reviews saying it is very hard, but actually it is exactly how it should be but only if you have healthy feet. if you need loads of padding, then this is not for you. I love it. this is what I was looking for a shoe that is comfortable as well as sturdy and not too much cushioning. it is perfect size, very comfortable and the size of toe box is great for me. again my feet is not wide, so if you have wide feet, this is not for you. I got size 5 and I am over the moon. very nice. now i can hit the gym and do my running with full support of my legs. very happy.

Well made trainers, very nice and usually very comfortable sadly I had to send back as to narrow. I have bought from brooks before several times and usually fit like a glove . I definitely would buy from them again this hasn't put me off

I started walking 2 hours a day, 1 hour each way to and from work for a number of reasons. After one week of doing it in a pair of £40 trainers I bought years ago, I knew I needed better trainers because my feet were in so much agony I couldn't walk after a week of 2 hours walking a day. So I got these after a decent amount of research. I didn't get a gait analysis because ironically I was too lazy to go to a store that does them. So since these were highly recommended on pretty much every article I read about long distance walking shoe recommendations, I decided to get them. 3 and a half months of walking 20k steps a day, 5+ days a week later, and I can say my feet don't hurt at all. These shoes give a spring in your step and are really comfortable. I wore wellies one day to work last week due to wet weather and my feet hurt at the end of the day, so I know my feet haven't stopped hurting simply because they've gotten used to the journey, they've stopped hurting primarily because of these shoes. I'd highly recommend these shoes if you're planning to walk or run long distance, but I'd really recommend doing what I didn't do first: a gait analysis.

Causes a lot of heel pain, runs narrow

I normally love Brooks (I like the adrenalin GTS model- highly recommend that one)..unfortunately I wore this one once on a medium length walk and I've had a plantar fasciitis flare up ever since. If I'd been more with it, I'd have sought a return but alas the window for that is closed.Also to note: this one feels like it runs narrow compared to my other pair of Brooks even though they are both 'b' width.

Ich finde diese Schuhe für mich echt super. Diese habe ich von Beginn an und habe sie mir hier nochmal bestellt. Wenn man etwas breitere Füße hat, sollte man aber evtl. nach anderen Ausschau halten.

Habe die Schuhe schon zwei Mal gekauft. Sie sehen nicht nur fantastisch aus, sondern sind auch super bequem und für meine geschundenen Füße ideal geeignet. Ich muß im Job als Physiotherapeutin lange Wege zurück legen und mit diesem Sportschuh habe ich schon am ersten Tag viel weniger Schmerzen in den Füßen gehabt. Ich bin sicher, daß ich diese ein drittes Mal kaufe, wenn die jetzigen wieder verschlissen sind. Länger als ein Jahr sollte man Schuhe eh nicht tragen, wenn sie täglich viele Stunden getragen werden.

The Brooks are one my favorite running shoes besides Saucony and new balance ⚖️. Can't wait to get them . Great for walking and jogging 👟 and little bit wider than the others especially Nike unfortunately. Nike are very narrow for my feet type. The funny thing is I grew up with Nikes. But cannot wear them anymore.
