Yes, I have regretted that decision a few times, although if I take my socks off, I can still count to ten! 😊Getting older, and a shade clumsier, I thought it was time to get some safety shoes and these looked the part.First, with the steel-toe caps and Kevlar midsoles, I’m well covered for safety. The water resistance is fine with me. I’m not in the trades, so if it’s raining that hard, waterproofing isn’t necessary – I’ll be indoors having a cuppa and watching the raindrops racing each other down the window panes!The fit? It’s good and comfortable. More so than I was expecting. My first use of them was to cut the last few logs in my winter log pile. It took about 70 minutes, and had me walking back and forth, kneeling down and stretching a good few times to lay the cut logs down. After the first couple of minutes of wearing something new, I didn’t realise I had them on until I walked back into the kitchen to take them off. I won’t wear them too often, but they are surprisingly comfortable for occasional use.I’m very pleased with them, and on review, the price of £38 seems reasonable and offers good value for money.Five stars and highly recommended.

These boots handle tough jobs well. The steel toe cap gives solid protection, and the Kevlar midsole helps against sharp objects. I stepped on a few stray nails at a site, and they didn’t go through, which was reassuring.They feel comfortable right out of the box. The padding inside gives good support, and they don’t feel too tight around the toes. I wore them for a full shift, and my feet didn’t ache by the end of the day.The water resistance does what it should. I had to walk through some wet areas, and my socks stayed dry. The grip on the sole is also strong, even on slick surfaces. I didn’t have to worry about slipping while moving around.They look decent for work boots. The black design makes them easy to wear outside of work without standing out too much. They also don’t feel as heavy as some other safety boots I’ve tried.For the price, they offer good protection and comfort. If you need boots that hold up to daily wear without hurting your feet, these are worth considering.

These boots do the job well with all round toe and sole protection.They are comfortable after a little bit of breaking in and they are effective against puddles and possible wet socks.

This is the second time I've got a pair of Black Hammer work boots. Just like the first pair these ones arrived in a traditional style easy to recycle shoe box. So why the second order ?It's simple these are excellent work boots. As well as looking nice they have a strong steel toe cap and Kevlar midsole. They are also water and mud resistant with a decent grip.Perfect for providing protection whether working on a building site or at home in my workshop. Plus they don't take long to break in, which means less blisters and discomfort. There's even a spare pair of laces in the box.Overall ? if you want a decent reliable pair of comfortable safety boots at a fair price, these don't dissapoint.

These safety work boots are solid and well-built, offering excellent protection with a steel toe cap and midsole reinforcement. They’re comfortable for long shifts, with decent cushioning and support. The water resistance holds up well in damp conditions, and the rubber outsole provides good grip on various surfaces. They’re a bit stiff at first but break in nicely after some wear. A great choice for warehouse work or outdoor jobs.Great quality and price highly recommended 👌🏻

Leather uppers and reinforced sole results in a very sturdy and stiff boot. The leather seems more pleather than real (although it’s declared to be authentic) with a smooth nubuck type finish. Not had chance to test the waterproofing yet, but I don’t think there is any membrane technology involved, just a ‘mesh’, so will probably be water resistant only. We’ll see how they last with the usual building work abuses. Not that stylish if you fancy wearing them offsite…

A whole tank on my feet. These things feel way sturdier than my earth keeper timberland boots. They look amazing as well. Can be used for work or fashion boots m definitely recommend

I’ve ordered from black hammer a few times now and have found their products to be excellent.My husband works in renovation so needs clothing that will stand up to the rigours of his work, while offering good protection, free movement and functionality.These boots are comfortable and despite having protection in the toe and sole are still light enough to be worn each day without causing fatigue.They give excellent support and grip and are still smart enough to give a professional look.In my experience they last very well, are fairly priced given the quality, and I’d be happy to recommend them.I hope you find my review helpful.
