I got this smartphone video rig to help with stabilising my videos and give me more control when filming. I’ve been experimenting with video content creation, and using just a handheld phone was starting to feel limiting. This rig seemed like a great option for adding a professional touch to my work.The aluminium alloy build is the first thing that stands out. It feels very sturdy and durable without being overly heavy, so I can use it for extended filming sessions without my arms getting too tired. The handles provide a good grip, and the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold steady. The cold shoe mount is a fantastic addition, allowing me to attach accessories like a microphone or small LED light easily.I’ve used it with my iPhone 14 Pro, and it fits snugly in the adjustable mount. The rig also works well on a tripod, giving even more stability for static shots. It’s been great for capturing smoother videos and improving the overall quality of my filming.However, it’s not perfect. The grip handles, while solid, could use some padding to make them a bit softer on the hands after prolonged use. Additionally, attaching and removing the phone isn’t as quick as I’d like; it takes a bit of fiddling to get it in just right.Overall, this is a great tool for any videographer or content creator looking to step up their smartphone filming game. With a few minor adjustments, it would be ideal, but even as it is, it’s made a noticeable difference to my video production.

This is now my new favorite toy. I look, feel and am(?) like a pro filmmaker with this thing. No joke, it's that good. The build quality is unparalleled. I am literally amazed by this. There are no burs, no knicks, no jaggies, it's a straight-up all metal frame that feels very nice & sturdy, LOOKS nice & professional, and works as intended. My phone fits perfectly, and it's a small phone. I have no doubt that larger phones will too. Also, if you want to add some doo-dads to your phone like a mic or a lens, you'll be fine with this. You can add almost anything, a monitor, an audio interface, a lighthouse beacon, whatever. There's probably a way to mount it.It's a great platform for a wanna-be beginner filmmaker. I honestly wonder what I'm going to replace this thing with as a mobile film making apparatus. Love this thing. I wish there was 6 stars.

I have yet to use this to any considerable extent, but it holds my moto g power (with case) securely.
Incredibly Built and Functional
The media could not be loaded. This is the jam for my video projects. I shot a birthday tea party for the the example video and it was almost effortless to use! It’s incredibly futuristic and stout as well! I hard a difficult time believing it was aluminum for how dense the metal is. It’s looks professional as well . I know that iPhone’s shooting capabilities are really kind of making a lot of other equipment almost obsolete. This phone holder furthers that with the almost unreal difference in stability it offers with the two handles.Keep in mind this is not a free swiveling image stabilization cage. It has statically mounted arms that are fixed with grooves(see pics.) However, this cage makes it less difficult and less awkward to charge professional prices while shooting events with my iPhone, that alone is worth the price, and the results speak for themselves straight out of the boxxxx!!!! I would have never considered a cage like this and the significant changes it’s already made to my quality of work, which is why I can’t recommend it enough!! 5 stars!!!
Solidly built
I've been really happy with the build quality of everything I've gotten from FANAUE. This is no exception. It's very easy to adjust, and holds my phone solidly. Great way to carry a phone to use as a video camera.
