Nice to see a mainstream brand taking their eco-responsibilities seriously and using recycled plastic packaging and a more biodegradable ingredients in the gel itself. Not sure I'm as convinced that the touted 'MicroMoisture' make as much of a difference, but this is a very pleasant shower gel to use and it does leave your skin feeling less-stripped of natural oils than some do. Not sure it's the same as having applied a body lotion, but it's good. It generates a nice emollient lather rather than lots of foamy froth and is reasonably frugal in use, even better if you use a mitt or puff to apply it.The fragrance is sweet and a kind of floral-vanilla blend, it's noticeable without being overbearing. Small complaint, the flip-top cap on the bigger 400ml bottles is a pain to open with wet hands - it snaps shut very securely but there isn't much of a lip to get hold of to open it again. That petty grievance aside it's a really nice moisturising body wash and worth a try.

I've been using for a while now and it's clear the moisturising element really helps to avoid dry skin. I like having hot showers which means you occasionally get dry skin patches but this has helped prevent them for a few weeks now.The scent is fairly neutral so I have no issue using it (I'm a guy and many shampoos/body washes have floral scents but this doesn't particularly).The price also seems reasonable per bottle for a 6 pack. Yes there are cheaper body washes out there but I know very few that have had such a positive impact on my skin.

At the time of this review, this dove advanced care nourishing silk body wash is 43 per cent off. What an incredible day off for these large 400 millilitre bottles. I found just one of these lasted me several weeks and was very good to use. It forms a lather with only a small amount, but remains nice and silky. I did not suffer any irritation using this product despite having sensitive skin.

Set of six 400 mL Dove Advanced Care Nourishing Silk Body Wash.This has a lovely fresh but luxurious scent. As with all Dove products, it is gentle on the skin and washes well.Despite the lack of SLS, it does lather up well to give a nice foamy wash. I also use my body washes as bath soaks and this performs well here too.The option to buy in bulk is definitely a bonus. This is something liked by all the family members and whilst a bottle does go a long way the option to buy in bulk is always welcome.Overall a nice quality product from a trusted brand.I hope you found this review helpful.
