5.0 out of 5 stars A lot of bang for not much buck
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } If you’re after energetic bass, solid noise cancelling, decent battery life—all wrapped in a useful charging case that doubles as a mobile stand—the P30i delivers at pretty good value (around £30). While its sound leans toward bass and NC isn’t fully premium, its build quality is high and performs somewhere near my other pair of buds that cost me three times the price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible value!
These things are insane, ive got far more expensive sonys , jabras. But these almost sound better, i think its mainly due to the 3d spacial audio.Anc is just as good too, and everything else, like ip rating controls , comfort are great too, its amazing that you can get this sound and functionality from such a cheap pair of buds.I dont normally write such long reviews, but i had to say that, eventhough there may be better earphones out there, even at a similarprice, these tick all the boxes.
4.0 out of 5 stars Value for Money! But....
Hi guys,I wanted to leave a very honest review of what I think about SC P30i and I am also going to compare it to SC P20i.I had a P20i and was very happy with it, it didnt have noise cancellation but when I lost the case, thought I might go for and upgrade since SC doesnt mess about.Noise CancellingThey do the job, plain and simple. You can somewhat hear the cars when they drive past but honestly it holds well when it comes to general use. I would say the only place where they tend to sometimes be passive is the undeground but when again unless you are obsessed with strictly no noise coming through then maybe you should go for something a bit more expensive.Sound QualityThis is where I would the price really makes up for having noise cancellation, because honestly its not the best, sound kind of disperses especially at highter tones, so in order to control that fuzzy sound I tend to sometimes put the volume down to produce clarity. My P20i's were better in this area.. which is shocking.. as its nearly 30%-40% cheaper. So yh not the best but again noise cancelling makes up for it I guess.VolumeIts Loud. Loud enough, more than enough, no issues. The app has all the EQ settings as well so you can customise certain factors but in general its loud, I even sometimes think its too loud thats coming from someone that has a hearing loss in one ear.Bluetooth ConnectivityMeh.. I dont know why it might be just the pair I have but sometimes its connected to my phone yet, my phone plays on its own speaker, it rarely does it so I am not complaining and more frequently than that it gives this static sound you get like in radios when it loses conection for like a second but it can happen not always but its definitely noticeable when it does.We shouldn't really be having these problems even if the price is budget friendly.Microphone Quality.Potato. Absolute garbage. You can definitely distinguish what is being said, thats if you can tolerate the robot filter it automatically puts on :). Definitely one of the reasons why its the cheapest noise cancelling earphones. My P20i's weren't the best eaither, I guess they aren't designed for talking, definitely more listening.Battery LifePretty fair, cant complain single charge lasts me 2-3 days, dont have them on 24/7 but gets me through commuting, gym and spare time. Happy days.ComfortFeels good, a lot more comfoer than the P20i's. It feels a little more sleek feels good on the ear, isnt too bulky so doesnt feel like your carrying your earphones on your ear, fits good, comes with changeable buds depending on your size.TransparencyI dont often use this feature, but when I do I would say its more for hazardous transparency rather than communitive transparency, even though I can distinguish what people are saying I kind of have to predict and assume, so I just tend to take them off. But I guess for cars and other hazards its okay.Final VerdictListen, its good. For the price you are paying to own a pair of noise cancelling earphones to get you through the days this is more than enough. Just try to keep your expectations low in terms of sound quality and microphone quality because these are not Bose, but you already know that. I use them at gym and while on the underground, havent let me down yet. I would like to point out however.. if you are not fussed about noise cancelling and the extra feature of having the case as a stand for your phone, DEFINITELY go for the P20i's way better value for money. I only got these for the noise cancelling. For reference I have been using them for a month.Cheers
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the sub 30 price
Echoing all the other 4 and 5* reviews, they are just great for the cost (30 on sale). Noise cancellation is great, not flawless due to sound bleed but brilliant.Comfy and light but not so much that you feel like they are cheap.Custom eq is highly useful as no eq is as good as your own eq.Ability to set the controls or disable them is great, especially to sleep with.Duel connections, connected to phone and pc.Charging speed is quick as with most devices these days. The best bit, the case doubles as a phone holder for a desk or seat tray on a train.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic headphones
Ordered the green headphones and they are a lovely colour.Design of the case and headphone looks great. The audio quality is brilliant, especially at this price point. Battery life so far has been superb.Recommend downloading the app with these, you can play about with the sound settings until you find the right settings for you.The touch buttons on the headphones can be a little sensitive, but that's the only negative I can find. Anker always do great tech.
5.0 out of 5 stars They completely remove wind noise while cycling!
I've been super impressed with these buds, they connect flawlessly and instantly and the audio quality is the best ive experienced in wireless earbuds and far better than any similarly priced wired headphones.these buds are my first experience with anc and for my purpose they have eliminated the headache inducing wind noise I get from all my other in ear buds, even while cycling when wind noise can sometimes overpower the music/podcast/whatever being played its a strange experience feeling the force of the wind but not hearing it, I should mention it does take a second for the anc to kick in or detect the wind noise I would imagine this is to be expected because it is adaptive to external noise.comfort wise these fit my ears perfectly which is obviously subjective but will say that all other earphones Ive used I can only wear for an hour or two before they become too uncomfortable to wear with these I've not had that problem or even really noticed them at all, even after hours of use and they stay put.they fit close to your head without making you look like a Frankenstein creation and fit under a hat completely un-noticeable.charging is fast and the case is compact, the accompanying app is easy to understand (you dont need the app for them to work) with no added fluff and you dont need the app to be running once set up ie you could set your prefs then uninstall and the buds remember your settings (although you wont get earbud firmware updates obviously).for me the price point is perfect I travel a lot and loose stuff a lot, Id be upset if I lost them but not hysterical.sometimes i think a low price can give people a bias towards star rating of a product giving products a higher rating because they weren't expecting much to begin with, well these really do exceed my expectations with no compromise, going forward I will now stick with Anker soundcore buds should I need to replace them.my sister tried them and she too was so impressed she ordered a pair the next day
Great performance
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } The noice cancelation feature on these is out of this world; miles ahead of my more expensive samsung buds. Great battery life, fits snug into ears without any discomfort; case can be used as a phone stand for watching movies
