So far so good. Night pic quality is amazingly clear! Battery’s still going strong.It does lag but I think that’s due to my internet upload speed.

The media could not be loaded. They were extremely easy to set up, and the image quality was crystal clear. The build quality is good, and the security cameras are well-made, compact and sturdy. The battery life seemed to be good, considering how compact these security cameras are, and so far, I haven't noticed any issues with the mobile app while using it on both my Android and iOS phones. Also, the design is sleek, and they came with many features on the box, but the live view performance was missing. In night-vision colour mode, the camera struggled to keep and maintain a good night vision in a black-pitch environment, but it did impressively well in a poorly lighted area. However, the black-and-white night vision was very clear in both scenarios, and I was quite impressed with the sound quality, the view angles and the long-range capability of the motion sensor. For any movement, vehicle and human detection, I was notified in seconds, but unfortunately, the live view was extremely laggy or impossible to connect. Any event was recorded as soon as the camera detected the activity. Still, the live-view monitoring wasn't real-time, and the image delay was up to a 1-minute or sometimes more on a WI-FI connection. Overall, my biggest disappointment with these security cameras was the live-view connection time and unacceptable lag, which made monitoring any activity in real-time absolutely impossible. Firmware updates might fix these issues in the feature, but for performance, price tag and a pricey subscription in order to keep them up and running, I can't recommend them as good value or above 3.5 stars.

BEWARE! The arlo app (on android) does not appear to have the option for UK CUSTOMERS to even install the essential xl 2nd generation cameras. I used a work around which said to open a new account using a US VPN & during the trial period it was fine BUT once the trial ends YOU CANNOT use the cameras for anything other than live images. You need to sign up for monthly subscription to get even basic motion alerts & because you appear to have a "US account" you can't seem to take out a subscription via the app because you can't amend the payment options to UK details. Having to return these cameras & find an alternative.

First off the camera quality is excellent, the build quality and battery life is superb. These newer cameras film in 2k and it’s instantly noticeable watching on a bigger screen. Installation of the cameras couldn’t be easier with the supposed wall mounts and the app is well made and easy to navigate. Out of the box it will work with the app for live streaming and certain alerts but that is where it hits its limit unless you upgrade to a monthly payment plan. Oh and before I go into that the colour night vision is very good, much, much better than the standard night vision and although the cameras do 2k, without the subscription they only stream in HD.I strongly disagree with all the monthly charges for security cameras for basic features like recording and advanced recognition, the cameras are expensive and you should get that with it, but they all do it now. The subs say it starts from £4.99 per month but that’s for only one camera, for 4 cameras it’s 10.99 per month to give you all the features. I’m in the trial at the moment and the advanced features are very very good, it really does identify animals and humans and the alerts are quick and accurate, it will tell me instantly when next doors cat is prowling out slide the back door.The activity log is quick and easy to use and very intuitive if you’ve ever used anything like this before. We are going to drop down to a single camera sub when the trial is done just because we can’t warrant £11 per month so we’ll use the front camera on the house for that as the rest will be li e stream only.It is worth knowing that you also need the hub to either record at home or connect to a smart home, this should definitely be included with the camera, it’s so off putting for people to commit to all the extra charges. My friends have asked about my new cameras but each one says they wouldn’t pay anything per month for a camera, my neighbour has a cheap Chinese made camera and doorbell which has no subs and records locally to an SD card and comparing them with ours do compare well and although they don’t have the same advanced features there is no charge per month.Great cameras but costly.

Ho acquistato le Arlo essential XL (2K) perchè mi ero trovato molto bene con la prima serie delle Arlo essential HD, ma la qualità dei video è inferiore per le 2k rispetto all'originale HD. Inoltre, i supporti murali sono significativamente scadenti. A fronte della vecchia serie dove veniva fornito un braccio completamente snodabile che garantiva di installarle anche sul muro parallelo all'asse della vista, questi garantiscono solo una visione frontale rispetto al muro. E' assurdo che debbano essere comprati dei supporti aggiuntivi...

Die Cameras ließen sich im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Cameras die ich ausprobiert habe spielen leicht mit dem Internet verbinden, sie liefern gute Bilder und reagieren sehr gut auf Bewegungen im Umfeld. Sehr gute App dazu und intuitive Bedienung.Es war ein guter Kauf
Pessime non funzionano
Hanno funzionato per un pò, poi non si collegano più, nonostante sia intervenuto più volte a ripristinare il sistema. Sconsiglio vivamente di acquistare telecamere Arlo. Soldi buttati via!
