This was listed as being okay for a Google Pixel, but the phone is gripped centrally where the Pixel has the volume/zoom buttons. I didn't want those phone buttons damaged, so did a product return
3.0 out of 5 stars Fun to use - performance OK-ish
OK, this is an inexpensive device that sort-of does what it says on the box. it seems to be well made - by JJC - so it should last. Just a couple of gripes: ... Firstly, there's an increased delay between pressing the shutter release button on the grip and your phone actually taking the picture. I presume due to the Bluetooth connection. Not a deal breaker - but a bit irritating. Also, on my Samsung phone, the natural position for your 'shooting hand' means that the bottom of your palm wraps slightly round the front screen - just where the 'recents' button sits. Accordingly, just as you're composing that Pulitzer prize winning photograph, you run the very real risk of hitting the 'recents' button making the phone cut from 'camera' to 'recents' - and your masterpiece is lost! You can get round this by changing the orientation of the grip - from Landscape to Portrait .. but that's a bit of a shame. Maybe this is just a Samsung/Android issue and iPhones are fine.
