The media could not be loaded. I already own an earlier model of this I’ve used for intimate areas with no unfortunate mishaps or nicks (black device in video) but I could never reach my whole back as I’m a powerlifter with a large back and lack the required flexibility.I’ve tried branded back razors and never get on with them, not saying they aren’t great and have done in a pinch but the blades are expensive and don’t last.The back handle attachment makes getting to my whole back a doddle and I’m really happy with the results.Plus it is interchangeable with my existing BG3010 model which is also a bonus though the battery is easily enough to do my whole body.It was a bit snaggy on the longer hair at first as there was a bit of a pelt to get through but once I went a little gentler it all came off and I was left with a lovely smooth back (this was all dry btw).Overall I’m really pleased with the value for money, usability, versatility (pits, chest, back, sack and crack, with the added handle attachment).By far the best body hair trimmer I’ve ever had.

Positives- Let me just say I’m excessively hairy front and back. I used to get a friend to apply hair removal cream on my back. Excellent results, but incredibly messy and time consuming, not to mention the smell. The body groomer charges fully in about an hour, I usually get 2/3 uses at around 20x minutes a time from it before a recharge is required. I find it a great product and easy to use. I can now shave my own back without assistance huge plus.Negatives- the body groomer won’t shave to zero like a razor or anything like hair removal cream, I didn’t expect it to. However it shaves closely. This is good enough for me. You will need to be patient and do many passes to trim down sufficiently. After your first attempt you will become more efficient at shaving and it will take less time. I don’t recommend anyone using this groomer who has a excessively spotty back. I only went over one spot, then blood dripping down my back!!Overall- a good product, the only real answer I can see to trim ones own back and not involve others. Product is expensive to my mind and the price has fluctuated a lot in the last year or so. I bought a damaged box item, other than box damaged as stated item is perfect as far a I can see. When you get used to it, you will be glad you bought it. My only wish is that it would shave even closer.

As a hairy dude (I mean really hairy) this has changed everything for me, I am much more comfortable getting changed in front of my partner and even shared a hot tub with her recently (Yanited).It is an absolute work out though reaching the hard-to-reach areas, but I suppose you’re training your muscles too. If you’re a hairy man, and it’s doing your head in, get this, it WILL remove all your hair and you’ll feel mint.

I bagged this for £44, this is a huge improvement on a similar model by Phillips that I had for over a decade. I'm absolutely amazed how smooth and efficiently it cuts. I've owned a few back extending body groomers as well as an older Philips model I mentioned and they've always irritated my skin to an extent.Absolutely no irritation at all and Phillips are true to their word. This is a really nice product and worth every penny. Having a lithium battery means it's very fast charging and will tolerate a bit of abuse. I imagine this will last many years and a nice modern twist that you can plug it into a usb phone charger

I would have given this product a 5-star review, if the video they show was actually accurate, but 4 stars it is.let me premise this review with the following, (1) never used a body Hair trimmer before (2) was not expecting the results I got from this is trimmer, (3) I'm quite a hairy person.so first, the battery life lives up to expectations A+, cannot fault the battery life.The waterproof feature A+ works well in the wet and dry.I was expecting the trimmer to just trim hair, not completely remove it, on that front I was pleasantly surprised. However, the video shows that a single pass along the hair removes all the hair, this is blatantly NOT TRUE, it takes some effort to remove the hair, and had to do 4-5 passed over the same area before the hair was removed. if I was Philips, I'd remove that video and put some more true/accurate. The back hair extender is a little flimsy, didn't always get the angle needed, and sometimes it locked out of position, but got the job done more or less. the cradle did keep the trimmer secure and the trimmer never came out once. so, to summarize, more or less happy with the trimmer, does require some welly to get the job done. I did research alternate trimmers/ blades and came to conclusion this was the best solution without cutting up my skin. I hope to use this trimmer for the next few years, also Philips offered an extra year warranty when u register the product online. so, an extra bonus there.
