Very smooth but still have a nice linen roughness to them, the small collo is great for me as collors get in the way. Good shirts will buy again if in need for more shirts.

I took notice of the reviews and got a size larger. Good advice. On the other hand as has been said, the collar is a lot smaller than the picture. Not a deal breaker (indeed I may buy another before my hols) but it would be a nicer shirt with a with a slightly larger collar.
