Absolutely brilliant game. Quick and easy to learn and can be surprisingly strategic to play. We loved it as a family Xmas gift. In fact we played it so much each of our children bought their own copy when they returned to their respective homes! I’m sure kids of all ages would get something out of it.

loved this game so much fun, most found it easy to learn one person did struggle but this made it more fun for the rest of us, They were having a bad day so not the fault of the game rules. similar to Love letters

I got my daughter this for Christmas. We’ve all loved playing it together. My daughters 9 and understands it well but also fun for us adults. Would recommend

The box seems oversized given how few cards there are inside, but don't let this put you off. We're still not entirely sure we've been playing it right but we've had lots of fun, and a few squabbles, in the first few games we've played.We have transferred the game to a smaller zip pencil case (how we travel with lots of card games as saves space and we tend to lose fewer cards this way) as the box is unnecessarily large for the cards inside. I would also say the size of the cards makes them a little difficult to shuffle but with so few cards this wasn't really an issue.

This game is now a favourite in our house. My twin 6 year olds picked up the rules easily, and my 11 year old plays it happily without complaining that it's for babies. I love playing it too!

Was initially sceptical of this game as it's 12 cards and 7 tokens in a small box but it's so good! We've played it almost constantly since buying it and it's still my children's favourite game (8, 13, 13). Easy to take with us out and quick to play but multiple games don't get boring.Highly recommended!

Quick Games✅, Easy To Learn✅, And Great For Travel✅.
The media could not be loaded. Our family loves the Exploding Kittens brands. We have tried quite a few of their games. When my wife saw "Power Hungry Pets", she surprised our family and got it. The first thing you will notice about all Exploding Kittens games are the instructions. Yes they give you the printed version, but also a QR code or URL for a video of the instructions. This is great because it's the actually makers of the game explaining how to play, rather than a random YouTuber. Initially I was shocked with the contents of the box. It contains 21 numbered cards and 7 tokens. You can play 2-6 players which is decent, but also limiting. Depending on the size of your group the game gets played fairly quickly. The box says 15 mins and I would agree, that it's roughly 15 mins worth of gameplay. Like most card games, luck is the name of the game. What I do like is the element of strategy, especially for the older crowd. If you are able to keep track of the cards, you can count the card. This helps with making decisions on which card to keep or discard.✅WHAT I LIKE:▪️Quick setup.▪️I like the size of the cards and nice sized fonts. Nothing is worse than trying to squint.▪️Compact enough to take traveling.▪️Its nice that you can play 2 players, if you don't have a large group. Bigger groups are better in my opinion.😉▪️The artwork on the cards are fun and colourful.❌WHAT I DON'T LIKE:▪️It's funny, but in the same token that I like the 2 player aspect. I wish you could play more than 6, because when we get together with another family. We have to force some family members to sit out.▪️I am concerned about longevity and how often you would want to play?🦋OVERALL:Glad we got this game during the summer. It's getting tucked in our luggage and has already been on a few trips. I like that I can give the game to the kids and they can easily setup and play. It's a fun game that we wouldn't hesitate to bring out when guests come over.🤗 We plan on going camping tomorrow and we are packing "Power Hungry Pets".
