1.0 out of 5 stars Poor buy
Very difficult to stretch the spring loaded phone grip over the phone..
5.0 out of 5 stars Superb!
I'm really impressed with the Vkesen Tripod's performance and versatility. It does exactly as promised. This tripod is not only compatible with cameras, but it also has a Go Pro action camera mount and a smartphone mount which is size adjustable so will accommodate most smartphones. There is also a carry handle included in the box which can be attached via a loop on the main mount if required. The standout features of this tripod is its flexibility. The legs are made of durable and bendable material, allowing the user to wrap it around various objects to capture shots/videos from unique angles. Moreover, the flexible legs allow the tripod's height to be lowered if being used on a surface. The 360° adjustable ball head allows the user to rotate the device in any direction, enabling the user to capture both landscape and portrait shots/videos. The ball head offers smooth movements and locks securely in place, providing stability while shooting.Importantly, the tripod is incredibly lightweight and compact, making it perfect for travel. One can easily slip it into a bag or pocket, making it super convenient for on-the-go use.Despite its compact size, the tripod feels sturdy and well-built, and I have had no concerns about its durability.I don't have a Go Pro action camera so I can't test it with that, but having tested it out using both a mobile phone and a camera, I'm certain it will work just as well with Go Pros.Overall, I'm really impressed with it, and it will be a game changer for me. At the time of writing this review the price was only £18.99 with a tick box 10% discount voucher. This is fantastic value for money, a steal at this price in fact. I'm really happy to recommend this tripod.
4.0 out of 5 stars Exceeded my expectations.
This tripod arrived neatly wrapped in a simple plastic package. The bendable legs are a neat feature, making it super easy to fit around anything. Surprisingly, it's quite sturdy and even comes with a handy phone mount and a carry handle.Worried about scratches? No need – the clips have cushions on both sides, keeping your device safe. The package includes a phone holder, strap, and a GoPro adapter – all for £18.99 (at the time of writing with an extra 20% off with a voucher), that's not bad for a versatile and reliable tripod!Great for lighter cameras like phones and action cameras. It's well-made with lighter plastic but feels durable enough. Super light and fits easily into the side of a rucksack. My Samsung phone sits well and stays stable – the phone mount isn't fancy, but it does the job. It claims to hold up to 1.5kg, which is good for various devices. The flexible legs are surprisingly handy – they can bunch together or mould round things. All in all, this is a nice lightweight travel tripod that fits into small spaces.
5.0 out of 5 stars Simple, versatile little tripod
This is a really practical little bit of kit, ideal for lighter cameras - phones, action cameras, and smaller 'real' cameras. It feels pretty well made - a good bit of lighter plastic in the construction, but still decently constructed for this price point. It's lightweight enough to carry easily but still has enough heft to feel it should last a while. And it's very compact - something you can easily slip into the side of a rucksack, for instance. It's also nice and stable: you could easily shoot video on it; that might change with a big DSLR + big lens, but then that's not really what it's for. It's very flexible and practical. It has a ball head, so obviously you don't get the same level of precision as a 'proper' tripod head (nor does it have an integrated level), but for quick shooting out and about, and for smaller cameras, it still offers a decent range of adjustability. The fact that the head offers an extra mounting screw, so that you can easily add a microphone or small light, is a real bonus. The included smartphone mount is a fairly simple bit of kit - decently adjustable and strong, but not premium. It might be nice if it could be mounted in a way that allowed a slightly higher range of motion in the portrait orientation, but it can be used that way and in the usual landscape orientation it is more flexible. Of course the smartphone mount could easily be replaced with another. The flexible legs are surprisingly great. They can bunch together as a monopod/stick grip, function as normal, or twine round things. They are strong enough that they can be used to hang the camera from a vertical pole, not just horizontal ones - as can be seen from my photos, it sits happily and firmly at the top of my monitor mounting arm. I may actually use it permanently in that position, holding a light rather than a camera. This might not be feasible on a thinner pole, of course. The listing's suggestion that you might use it on bike handlebars seems a bit weird - I wouldn't trust it, and there are much better alternatives! - but it does offer a good deal of flexibility. This is something that has real usefulness as a lightweight travel tripod, but also gives options in small spaces where big tripods don't easily fit.

Great tripod
Spot on. Does as specified. Would recommend.
VKsen phone tripod
A great little tripod, sturdy, well made, very versatile.I would have liked the bracket (top and bottom) that holds the phone to be 1 or 2 mm deeper. It clamps the phone in perfectly without a case, but the lip just does not make it around the front of the phone when it's in a case.
