5.0 out of 5 stars Great with AG1
Great quality protein powder, I have a scoop + 1 tbsp of this + my daily dose of AG1 every day for breakfast. This powder dissolves well after a good 30 shakes.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Source of Protein for IBS & Gerd Sufferer
I’ve been using Hatton Hill’s Pea Protein Powder for just over a month now, and I’m honestly surprised at how much I’ve come to rely on it in my day-to-day diet. At £8.99 for 1kg, the value is exceptional—especially compared to similar products that cost double or more. What makes it really stand out is its simplicity. It’s just 100% pea protein, with no added flavouring, sweeteners, gums, or bulking agents. That kind of purity is increasingly rare in the supplement space, and it’s something I value greatly, particularly when I’m stacking proteins with other ingredients or using them in cooking. In terms of usage, the powder mixes surprisingly well. I wouldn’t call it silky like some flavoured blends with added lecithin, but for a single-ingredient pea protein, it performs admirably. I usually shake it into almond milk or water, sometimes with a spoonful of AG1 or greens powder, and it breaks down without leaving chalky clumps—as long as I give it 20–30 seconds of vigorous shaking. I’ve also stirred it into curries and lentil stews as a sneaky way to boost protein content, and it disappears nicely without changing the flavour or texture too much. It does have a mild natural earthiness, as all pea proteins do, but it’s not overwhelming. If anything, I found it smoother and less grassy than Pulsin or some budget European blends. In baking, it behaves well in muffins and protein pancakes. It absorbs liquid fairly quickly, so it’s best not to over-measure. I had one batch come out a bit rubbery when I overdid the scoop. The macros are excellent—84g of protein per 100g and very low in carbohydrates and fat. It’s ideal if you’re watching calories but still want to hit your daily protein targets without whey or soy. There are a few minor drawbacks. The pouch it comes in has a resealable top, but mine didn’t seal properly after a couple of uses. I had to fold it over tightly and clip it shut, which isn’t a big issue but something to note if you value airtight storage. Also, the country of origin is China, which might concern those who prefer European-sourced ingredients. I haven’t had any problems with quality or freshness, though, and the powder itself has been consistent from top to bottom of the bag.Overall, this is a clean, budget-friendly, and high-performing pea protein powder that suits everything from shakes to stews. I’d happily buy it again and might even grab the 2kg version if they offer it later on. The only real reasons to deduct half a star are the bag closure issue and lack of transparency about sourcing beyond “China.”

Great item... I will purchase again
4.0 out of 5 stars Good value product.
This is a pure protein product that is great as it does not have any additives. The only slight criticism was that the zipper did not close properly on the bag meaning the top needed to be folded over. Great product, recommended.
