Bought to help with a knee issue and this is definitely helping. It’s a good size so will come in handy for shoulder aches and stomach pains at some point I’m sure. The wheat bag is divided into 6 compartments so the wheat stays where it should. The cover is a nice grey cotton. Washable. I put the whole thing in the microwave for 2 to 3 mins (with a cup of water as per the instructions) and it then stays warm for 15-20mins. It can be put in the freezer too but I’ve not tried that yet. Really nice item.

The media could not be loaded. Love love this. I use it daily across my shoulders whilst on my computer. It’s surprisingly big and can wrap around you. The warmth stays in the bag for far longer than I expected. It’s really well made and I can see it lasting for a long time, especially since you can wash the cover.

Really good - it looks and feels high quality. There's just the right weight, so it sits in place without feeling oppressive. Internally there are six sections so the wheat doesn't all end up at one end. The linen cover is removeable so I'll be able to wash it to keep everything looking and smelling fresh.I haven't tried this as a cool bag yet. Popping it in the microwave does warm it up nicely and it retains heat for a useable length of time. (You need to place a container of water in the microwave to prevent the wheat from drying out). Comforting to apply and bringing genuinely effective relief to aching shoulders and neck. I also realised that it will roll up and make a nice alternative to a hot water bottle.Priced higher than others I looked at, but the weight is two and a half times more than some other bags. I guess for the quality, size and features the value is fair.

Arrived 2 days after ordering. It is well made and very well packaged and comes with a comprehensive set of instructions for use and care printed on the recyclable box it came in. Unfortunately, these instructions are not duplicated on a label on the product or on a leaflet that could be retained for future reference so only 4 stars for ease of use.The pillow has six distinct sections to keep the grains separated and comes in a plain linen cover that must be removed before heating. The bag can be heated by microwave at 600W for 1-3 mins or heated in an oven for 10-15 mins at 125 C. The bag must be sprinkled with water before heating or have a heatproof container of water placed alongside it. Once heated, the pillow can easily be be put back in its cover before use. The removable cover is washable, should it be necessary.The bag can be also used as a cold compress by freezing it for at least an hour.For long term storage, it is recommended that the bag be stored in a freezer to keep it fresh.In terms of effectiveness, it does what it claims to do, namely providing relief by the application of gentle warmth to the area for up to 40 mins. Feels very pleasant in use, worth a full five stars. If it is being heated in a microwave alongside a container of water, the temperature it reaches depends to some extent on how much water is in the container.

This wheat bag is very good quality. It has a lovely linen cover, that can be removed and washed.The bag is more expensive than others we've had, but is also twice the size, so it works out at good value.My mother has Raynaud's and uses one of these bags every day, even in the summer. She's so happy having this one as it's so much bigger than her others. I put it in the microwave for 2 - 3 mins, and it's ready to go.It's great.
