The pencils seem OK (havnt actually used them yet) there are a lot of nice colours and a good range of shades of most. I do wish they didn't have the silly label sewn on the front of the case - we don't all want the whole world to know what we are carrying but apart from that they seem fine. Pattern on case not as nice as it looks on the listing, but it's not meant to match my other 24 cases so I can live with it. Case is ok and seems sturdy enough although zipper on mine was very stiff and kept sticking (cue wd40 -cures almost everything) but apart from that and the garish patterns they offer all is good. In future perhaps the choice of a plain case could be offered, this may be more appealing to some (I.e.me) as the garish ones (2nd one I've brought - last one was bright yellow) stick out like a sore thumb. Unfortunately if you want a certain sized set of pencils, as I said, you don't get to choose the case, what you see is what you get.EditHave now used pencils. They have very soft core so don't keep a sharp tip for long. They are also very waxy and leave poor coverage. Its like trying to colour with children wax crayons - hopeless for detailed fine work. Also not very good at blending. Probably will only use for entertaining small neices and nephews as they are no good for the work I do. A pricy mistake on my part.

I was looking for a few pencil packs for my various grandchildren, all of whom love art. I’m a bit of an artist myself, and have a lot of coloured pencils but didn’t want to let them loose at present on my expensive sets by Faber Castel, Prismacolours, Holbeins or Caran d’Ache Luminance pencils. Id already bought everyone -Avis when I came across these. A bit of digging clarified that H and B are a huge maker of pencils , based in Shanghai. Their website relates to partners they work with, including Arteza and Staedtler. I also suspect they make pencils that others sell under various brands - in fact judging by the packs I’ve bought just this week, suspect they also make Artx , Kalour, Hiforny, Evazar and possibly also Brutfuner - and to be honest given l’ve pencils by all of those, in my personal opinion they do all seem to be pretty much the same (very nice) pencil - they all lay down well, they are creamy, rub out easily, and many of the colours seem pretty much the same, albeit with different colour names.The price of these - including the case - was amazing value. As expected, on arrival they looked, felt and laid down almost exactly the same as my Arteza pencils and my Evazar pencils. They even came with a rubber (eraser for those over the pond, rubber here in the UK) and much to my surprise (because usually anything shipped with a blade seems to get removed because of import requirements) a single hole metal pencil sharpener.I cannot fault the presentation and production of these. The pencils are excellent, and blend and layer well. My grandson loves them, as do I. In fact in future I think I’ll just go right to the horses mouth, and just buy direct from H and B.

Lovely pencils.good Blend ability. And very nice softness of pencil. Lovely case they come in too. Also a bonus edition was the colouring book. Would highly recommend. Good Value for money..

Great colour pigments. But so far one pencil lead is broken. Hou sharpen it and it just comes out. So that went in the bin. Disappointed

Looks just as shown in the images - including the small colouring in book. The pencils sharpen well, seems like they will last for quite a while, and there's a wide variety of colours. The case comes with a rubber/eraser and a sharpener. Colours well on the page and I found them easy to blend. The case it comes in is a great feature as I have a tendency to lose my pencils even if I use my own pencil case lol - with the individual pencil holders the case helps me keep track of what I've used and if I've misplaced any immediately, not the next time I reach for the box, which by then it's gone forever hahaGreat value for money and would definitely recommend them!

Value for money
I bought the 180 set.Well it was exactly what i expected considering the low price. They are oil-based soft core. For their quality, they blend very well and they also providing a good layering. The range of colors is very good and with various shades from vibrant to earth tones etc. I swatched all the colors and I am satisfied for what i was looking for. Also they have few metallic colors that are very good. Who can also burnish with the same color or with the white color but i will also purchase a colorless. They also have a good quality of wood and good grip.Providing that is a cheap set of color pencils, I would say that they are value for money for someone who wants to experiment before bying a highest quality of oil-based colors. And also do not forget that they work better on a good quality of paper for color pencils.

Polyvalence et richesse des couleurs avec les crayons H&B
J'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité de ces crayons de couleur H&B. Les mines sont résistantes et ne cassent pas facilement, ce qui est un vrai plus. La palette de couleurs est riche et variée, permettant de réaliser de superbes dégradés et mélanges. Le tout pour un prix très raisonnable. Un excellent choix pour tous les passionnés de dessin et coloriage !
Zeer goed kleurpotloden maar zijn dezelfde als de zwarte zak met kleurpotloden
Goede kwaliteit, zachte potloden die goed kleur afgeven, wat wel belangrijk is als je mooie tekeningen wil maken. Waarom ik deze heb gekozen is net om die zachte pastels en de bijhorende extra's en de goede beschermings hoes voor als je je kleurset buitenhuis wil meenemen om in het goede weer extra tot rust wil komen samen met je tekenblok met de geluiden van de natuur en de ontspanning die de natuur je geeft qua zicht,de luchtkwaliteit en de goede straling die de natuur je biedt. Als je dan in zulke goede omstandigheden leuke tegenwerken terug mee naar huis kan nemen zonder je potloden op de grond vallen geeft je dat zoveel keer meer voldoening. Je kan de hoes ook afkuisen of wassen indien nodig. Deze stoffen hoezen zullen niet van een zitbank afglijden wat praktisch is. Het enige nadeel dat ik zou kunnen opnoemen is dat het dik is en beetje prijzig, maar je betaaltaltijd veel voor kwaliteit,dus deze was nog relatief goed met de zak bij. Nadeel, het zijn dezelfde kleurtjes als de andere tas let kleurtjes die ik had gekocht, de andere heeft net wat meer kleurtjes en enkele andere tinten,wat goed is,je weet dat je tweemaal goede kleurpotloden hebt,maar was aan ene kant ook wel wat spijtig want geeft gevoel van bedrog
