I use them for holding 2 & 3mm plywood to a frame while lining parts up and glueing. On larger projects the pads are perhaps a little small. The grip is soft enough for the thinner materials, and strong enough to hold.

I bought these not for woodworking but to hold things when crafting.I wasn't sure how easy they would be to use, given I had bought what looked like the little clamps from the pound ship and found the grip width to be pointless.These are so different.The little ones have a nice wide opening and grip hard, brilliant.The larger ones are also easy to use and trip really well.The 4 clamps ( two bog, two small) arrive in their own box, that is a good shape for storage.Very pleased with these.

I've had these for 6 months now and I've wondered how I ever managed before. The two larger clamps are so simple to use and maintain strong clamping force indefinitely. The two smaller clamp are of the spring tension type, but are quite strong for their size. A great set at bargain price.

Tough little clamps. They solved my problem of the outside furniture cover blowing off in high winds. I had tried all sorts of different weights last winter. No use at all. These clamps have maintained the integrity of the cover in a few storms and are consistently brilliant at what they do. I no longer find myself fighting with storms and can now relax. My blood pressure remains in a calm state.

The clamps have a strong "bite", very smooth action and are comfortable to handle. I have no hesitation in describing them as faultless.

These clamps are very robust with a powerful spring.With a comfortable feel these clamps are very fit for purpose.I am confident that these clamps will easily give many years of use and will definitely be used many times in my projects!
