Glad I came across this handy Video/Photo accessory. I was looking for something to add Cold Shoe and a Tripod mount to my iPhone, preferably attached using MagSafe. This ticks all three boxes and very pleased with purchase. It attaches firmly to my MagSafe mount on my new iPhone 15 ESR MagSafe Case. The cold shoe works great with my microphone, or a LED light. I have attached an Arca Swiss tripod plate to the grip and this makes it easy to attach to my Monopod or Tripods. I don't envisage using the remote control as its easy to use the new action button on the iPhone 15. I actually find the grip more comfortable and more secure feeling using it to hold without the remote in place. Still it's a handy feature to have.

Hold the phone really securely and feels like a really high quality item.I returned mine as it didn’t allow me to fit my polarising filter over the phone which was a shame as it much nicer than the phone holder I’m using now.

This clever gadget adds a camera grip to almost any smartphone, making it much easier to handle when taking photos or movies. I find a phone awkward to hold without accidentally changing settings, and difficult to trigger without checking where the button is. This device attaches to the front of the phone and takes the hand away from the screen entirely. A proper button on top of the grip is used to trigger the shutter or start and stop movies. It's not the height of ergonomics, but much better than struggling with a slippery flat phone. The grip is very lightweight, and allows the phone to be stood up. There is a standard tripod thread in the bottom of the grip, and a basic cold shoe cast into the plastic body at the top.The grip is attached to the phone magnetically. For older phones and Android phones which don't have the ring built in, a self-adhesive ring is provided in the kit. Two would have been nice. I found it quite simple to stick this ring to the front of my LG V20, avoiding the fingerprint sensor. It's probably best to attach the ring to the grip before aligning it on the phone. I doubt the ring can be re-positioned once it is stuck on.The magnetic attraction is very strong, and I didn't experience any movement of the grip, which can be attached to the side for a portrait format if preferred.Less strong is the magnetic attachment of the Bluetooth module and shutter button. This little unit has a concealed USB-C charging port, and can be removed for charging and for use as a remote shutter control. It is easily knocked out of position when handling the grip on the camera. Connection and pairing with the camera was simple, and the button will reconnect when pressed,. I found it to work perfectly.This is a really useful accessory for any smartphone. LG used to make something similar for their G5, but that had addition controls, making it even more functional. I would like to see a Mk2 version of this, with a better-shaped grip, more secure trigger unit attachment, and a scroll-wheel or similar.But as it is, at just under £20 with discount, it could be a good buy.

Not the most secure hold while hand-held, and the removable Bluetooth shutter button latches off too easily, but great when used with a tripod and you need to quickly remove and mount the phone to it.

£25 at time of reviewI rarely give 5 stars, but I’m impressed with this for the price, I’ve seen similar items on here at 4 to 5 times the price, which I’ve not tried I admit, but I can’t see what they offer over this!The magnet on this gives a very secure hold, I held this over my bed and gave it a really vigorous shake, even a few hits with my hand and the phone didn’t dislodge an iota, so no worries there.In landscape mode, even with the lens set to supersede, the grip and your fingers don’t creep into frame, in portrait mode, in supersede you can just see your fingers around the grip, but the grip itself does not appear, so you’ll need to adjust your grip a little if you have it super wide, but in normal wide it’s fine in portrait.Syncing the bluetooth trigger was a simple case of long press for 5 secs when you switch it on and it goes into pairing mode, select it on your phone and you’re all set, and it can be removed so ideal for selfie shots too.Has a 3/4” tripod mount, a cold shoe, and a tiny hole bottom right for a lanyardHope my review was helpful

Endlich ein einfacher und bezahlbarer Griff mit Coldshue und Gewinde für Stative.Der Auslöser kann abgenommen werden und so als Fernauslöser dienen.Die Befestigung des Auslösers ist in meinen Augen etwas "schwach", da nur zwei stramme Verbindungen, diese könnten sich jedoch lösen, und dann ist der Auslöser weg.Sollte eigentlich einen Punktabzug geben, aber auf Grund des preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses passt es.
