Took very little time to assemble, though you will need the correct tools. Have been using this for a month now and bench is a huge improvement on my previous one: back rest is easy to adjust, build quality is excellent with a real sturdiness to it giving confidence when lifting heavier weights. Ideal for a home gym. Excellent value for money.

The bench is extremely sturdy and well made, it is quite heavy but it does have wheels making moving it not too much bother, I am confident in saying you won’t find a better bench for less, also it has a range of adjustments allowing allot of different exercises.

If you're looking at this you have probably tried the cheaper options and now you want something unquestionably better in every way and something you aren't going to replace for a long time. You've also been combing through lots of rubbish on Bolo and trying to find the bench tells you "it's me you're looking for!" This is it. It's a solid, adjustable platform where all you think about is your training not the piece of equipment under you. Definitely worth the relatively cheap price tag. It definitely needs the wheels it would be a nightmare without them.

Really good bench. I've had it about a month now. The only negative is that.. well it doesn't do negative angle for decline bench etc. But the material is really nice, matt. Everything feels solid and high quality.

This Bench is sturdy for the price and better quality than most at the gym in my opinion.Have been using it for 2 weeks now and haven't had any issues.It's heavy but comes with wheels and handle so easy to transport.

I recently bought this bench (not from Bolo, but direct from Gym Master’s site, where the total price inc p&p was marginally cheaper) and was really impressed with how quickly the order was dispatched and delivered: the two boxes of components were with me within 24 hrs of ordering.Overall the packaging is fairly good and the instructions to put together were clear (more on that below). The only minor downside was that the bolts and washers etc come on a piece of card which is then plastic coated, which in theory makes it really easy to work your way through the different sizes and compare to the list of contents. Unfortunately the plastic wrapping on mine had broken and the bolts were loose in the box. For most this wasn’t an issue because GM thoughtfully puts two washers with each nut and bolt. Some of these came undone and it took me a while to find all the washers but luckily nothing got lost in transit. The hardware seems pretty good and the nuts were all nyloc which is great as it means they are far less likely to come loose over time.The instructions are clear and it didn’t rake me too long to assemble, though for anyone about to do it, I’d recommend attaching the two pads to the brackets loosely first. I followed the order in the instructions and did those last, finding it a bit awkward to get the bolts in at that stage. No tools are included so you will need a few spanners - 14mm, 17mm and 19mm (ideally a pair of each).The bench is mostly finished in a hammertone powdercoat which looks pretty good. I didn’t see any defects in it whilst assembling and it feels like it will last a while.The 450kg max weight load is plenty for most people, and is relatively high for a bench with so much adjustability. It feels sturdy and gives me confidence. I have had olympic benchpress units in the past that reportedly had higher weight limit, and had no adjustment to the position but felt very rickety and unstable. This feels more like a commercial gym grade bench and makes a great addition to a home gym.The foam is soft enough to be comfortable but fairly stiff, which adds to the feeling of sturdiness, and I expect means it will be longer lasting than some other benches that have overly squidgy padding.I’m really impressed with the product and the service from GM, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to someone looking for a versatile weightlifting bench that should last a lifetime.

I don't give good reviews lightly.I have searched for 2 months to find a suitable bench that can take serious weight, and this is it.I checked the product on the manufacturer's website and the YouTube video before purchasing and this bench does deliver.Very sturdy, totally solid. Commercial Gym quality IMO.The only drawback is it can be a bit tricky to put together, but it does take shape fairly quickly. Two people are not required- just use your head. Make sure you have a good set of spanners or a socket set because this comes with no tools and you will need them.The weight and construction engineering of the bench itself are reassuring. I am 265lb and lift fairly heavy.I feel safe and comfortable and can focus on my technique and workout.It doesn't fold or store very well, but it is a joy to use and you won't mind having it out.No close second in this price range.Almost perfect.
