Fit my gotrax scooter
Fit my gotrax scooter. It was difficult to put the tires but eventually I got them in! You just need a good tool. Good deal. I would recommend this.
Product photos LIE! Valve stem too long
Beware! The stem is too long! It's not like it shows in the photo. The Schrader valve stem on this inner tube is LONG and will rub and knock against your scooter frame when inflated. I paid over $100 USD to a bike shop to have this mounted just to find this out when I got home. That's jacked up! If you're going to show the shorter stem in the product photo, make that the one that comes with this kit. And if you made the mistake of buying this, return it before it's too late.
Great tire...PUNCTURED INNER TUBE...CHECK FOR LEAKS PRIOR TO INSTALL
Installation was a pain. I suggest three levers spaced around rim to keep the tire from unseating itself.As for the inner tube I checked that it would hold air prior to install and noticed it was leaking, luckily I had spare inner tubes from previous attempts to fix the flat without buying a new tire.Be sure to check for leaks prior to install.Other than that once I got the tire installed and took it for a test spin it had great traction and handling!
Lifesaver!
The installation is difficult, but it's not the tire’s manufacturer's fault. Look up the process on YouTube and you can do it yourself with the right tools and patience! I've already installed and used my scooter, and the tire is perfect! I'm super happy I was able to find the right size!
