I’ve tried most of the shaver brands having had a beard for years. This is by far the best make and model. It’s expensive but worth it. Hardly ever needs changing! It’s just lovely quality and a great trim, superior to many other brands. Only issue small quantity, make sure your blade sizer guard is fixed on properly otherwise an inaccurate length will occur!!! Highly recommended.

I purchased this a couple of months ago and it has simply been great. I used to have an old Phillips trimmer before this and the Braun just feels so much better! It is quite thin compared to the other one and less noisy. The battery lasts for quite long, meaning I do not have to charge it often. I will say I do not have a very thick beard, so I cannot say if it will work with every beard style, but I have zero complaints. It does the job and allows me to trim exactly how I want (the variable length feature is extremely useful). I would recommend :)

I’ve used this for a couple of months now and I’ve been really happy with it. It comes with excellent build quality, feeling expensive In the hand.The many hair length based accessories and super long battery life add to the functionality - I’ve used only this to groom my beard since it arrived as the other trimmers in the house just don’t come close.Ready to go from the box, ease of use bang on. Best trimmer available at this price point.

The media could not be loaded. Reviewing this based on first impression after just one trim because I wanted to add a videos I was missing in previous reviews, showing the precision wheel and lock with the comb attached.I bought this as a replacement for another Braun trimmer which has been misplaced and it's a clear improvement across the board. It's quieter, the blade feels smoother and I like the way it stands while charging. The precision wheel feels quite solid and the lock is a very welcome upgrade. It's even compatible with the nose and ear attachment from my old trimmer, which was a welcome surprise.

This trimmer has a gigantic design flaw in that if you apply too much pressure, either while shaving or while applying the comb to it, the length setting goes down! This has caused me to have to trim my whole beard off, since once, without me noticing, the length went down to the minimum due to pressure! This does not happen with Philips! Also, compared to Philips, this one feels more unpleasant when sliding on the skin, and makes hairs fly everywhere, causing a bigger mess. And the charging plug doesn't work in my bathroom socket, although my toothbrush's does, not sure what's up with that. I wish I could return it but I've binned the box :( I'm going to sell it and go back to Philips, I thought Braun was high quality but this is absolute rubbish by comparison.

The shaver is great for my needs; I shave both my head and my beard so I need an easy way to change cutting length, and the dial on this works really well. It's also a very strong and sharp cut, taking a couple of minutes less time to finish than my previous shaver. One downside is it is quite bulky, meaning you need to change the head to do, for instance, work around ears and the top lip. But that's not so awful.However, I have to deduct a star because the only plug it comes with is for a shaver outlet, which is great if you have one but I don't. I'm pretty surprised there was no USB alternative. The upshot is I had to spend a fiver on an adapter just to charge it, which is pretty poor form from Braun.

Die Pole des Ladesteckers haben einen ca. 2mm kleineren Abstand voneinander

Nach dem Auspacken kam der Schock, dass man mit dem mitgelieferten Ladestecker in dem bei uns üblich genormten Steckdosensystem das Gerät nicht aufladen kann. Erst durch die Verwendung eines älteren Ladesteckers von Philips konte ich den Barttrimmer zufriedenstellend testen.
