Lots of clanking and clanging happening. These tennis ball sized, softer beauties have quietened down the drying a lot. They still eliminate the static, are not fraying, do not add any smell to the clothes and are proving to be a good purchase.

These dryer balls are very effective and much more efficient than the ones I was using previously which were half the size.Laundry dries faster and has a nice soft feeling, similar to when you air dry in the breeze.Don't overfill your dryer! everyone I know who says dryer balls don't work is filling their machine to bursting. Dryer balls work by separating out the clothes and creating space between them for the warm air to circulate but they can't do that if you don't leave a space in the machine.

I saw a review by the Good Housekeeping institute on TV recently of Wool balls similar to these, the information was they are worthwhile purchase to reduce drying time. As much as I would love to write how wonderful these are, it is unfortunately not easy for me to substantiate their effectiveness. However Iโm working on the assumption that they do work based on reviews and will continue to use them, at worst itโs just the small effort of putting them in and taking them out of the dryer.

Purchased after watching This Morning on TV. they are quieter than the plastic balls you can buy, Im not convinced that they reduce the drying time versus not using them, I only tumble towels and bedding now I'm on an economy drive to save money.

I was doubtful if these would make much difference when I bought them but we had a new heat pump dryer and nothing was coming out dry and everything was beyond creased and I hate ironing.Since buying these balls it's helped with creases and the drying is much better too, the clothes are kept apart more so I guess the heat spreads out more.
