This is an excellent solution for my problem. I have water butts next to the house that fill up quickly with water from the roof.Our greenhouse with its water butt is about 15m away and 6m uphill with lousy water collection. This little pump sits in a (house) water butt and happily ships the water through a garden hose (adaptor included) to the greenhouse.I set it running and use a timer for ~30 minutes as a reminder to check the level at the greenhouse.Tips:#1: Once I forgot the timer and the destination water butt overflowed onto the lawn for at least 30 minutes…).#2: Make sure the destination end of the hose is well anchored in place.#3: Note that when both ends of the hose are immersed, the hose is filled with water and the pump is switched off - water will syphon from the higher level to the lower level.

I got this for my breading tank and only have it I a second tank with just fresh water to supply the main tank the sound that it makes is so bad I can hear it from upstairs even with the door shut not a recommendation from me to get one unless to want to upset the Neighbours

An excellent pump, makes water changes in my Aquariums easier and quicker. This really does pump the water out and back in rapidly so no need to use buckets now. Excellent investment. 100% recommended.
