The media could not be loaded. I ordered this picnic blanket as it looked like it would be light enough to carry around if we were going to the park or the beach. It arrives in a handy little drawstring bag and it is indeed extremely light, it is made of polyester.In truth it isn't very big at 110 x 150 cm and it is very thin, thankfully the four ground pegs are sturdy and do the job of keeping it in place. My cats have taken an instant liking to it (have posted a short video of them on it) and I will let them have use of it in the back garden as it is easy to clean and dries very quickly. I would be wary of taking it to a beach though as any rocks or pebbles under it would be felt all to easily, and am not sure very fine dry sand would keep the pegs in place so it would be liable to blow away.I was going to mark it down because I do think it needs to be used on grass only for reasons mentioned above, but given how cheap it is and the fact it can be transported and stored away so easily I would say it is just about worth the price, and the fact pets seem to be drawn to it ticks another box for an animal lover like me!

When this arrived and I saw it was about the size of my hand, I wasn't quite sure what to expect any more! When it was unfolded though, it became a ground sheet that can just about fit our family of 5 on.We often go to one of our local attractions which includes having a picnic on a grassy field, and this will be a good item for those trips. No longer balancing on a plastic bag, we can use this to ensure that we don't get wet from the dew on the grass.We will still feel the cold, and this definitely won't help a shingly beach feel comfortable, but it will stop us from getting damp whilst eating our snacks.The fabric itself is a thin plastic feel, a bit like a waterproof coat. There are 4 plastic pegs included which clip into elastic hoops on the corners of the sheet.And as a plus, the sheet even folds back up and actually fits in the pouch! (although some consideration might need to be given as to how to dry it out at some stage).

This is a fabulous lightweight picnic blanket.It’s made from a thin waterproof material which feels a bit like a waterproof cagoule or tent fly sheet.It folds down very small and packs away in a little handy carry bag. Easy to carry in a backpack or store in your car glovebox.It includes 4 plastic pegs to secure it down, on the corner loops. As it’s so thin, it WILL need weighing or pegging down to stop it flying away, in even a very gentle breeze.It’s waterproof, so will keep your bottom dry if the grass is a little damp.I’ve got a very similar one of these ‘blankets’ in a much bigger size, which is handy for a family picnic, but this one is good size (110cm x 150cm) for a couple of people to sit on.It feels sturdy and well made. Easy to wipe clean too.Reasonably priced for the quality.

This mat is essentially sail material, very strong and easy to clean, also very thin.As such it offers not protection or padding whatsoever, but it is very portable and protects from humidity.The spikes are very useful and go into the soil easily (might be harder to take them out, I suggest not to push them in all the way with the foot, easy to do, but hard to extract them after).It comes with a pouch large enough to store it back without having to be super precise with the folding.Space enough for two sitting adults and a small child, perhaps. Not long enough to lie down for an adult with their legs extended entirely.I carry it on my bike for when I feel to stop in some field to relax.

I didn’t like this sheet for the beach, the pegs would not stay in and the blanket just collected a lot of sand.Although very easy to get the sand off, as just brushes due to the style of material.It does fold up neatly into a small bag, perfect for throwing in a beach bag
