The wood is a little rough/not sanded entirely perfectly so if you repurpose it for a display like I have, you want to remove hardback sleeve.

So simple and yet exactly when I need! I've used it for holding my cook books open when cooking and it is ideal. Wooden build is good quality. No splinters and fits together well

Was hoping to use this product for testing cookery books on etc however it was smaller than I was expecting which is my fault for not really looking at the measurements but the main issue was it’s very lightweight so when books even small ones are tested upon it - it tends to fall over I love the colour the shape etc but disappointing it was not more sturdy
