This is the second one of these that I have brought as my other daughter wanted one too! They are so good, rechargeable so you don’t have to buy an endless supply of batteries, free sounds so you don’t have to join apps to purchase a subscription. I honestly can’t rate these enough. My daughter struggles to sleep and calls me often through the night, but since we have had these she hasn’t called me, it helps to sooth her back to sleep with or without the light (her choice)

As stated in the review title, the sound is terrible - tinny and cheap. Not at all calming or relaxing to listen to. Save your money and buy a more premium product.

I had really high hopes for this but on trying it out this last couple of weeks there are a couple of issues to flag here. The choice of sounds is extremely limited - and of these, the only one I can really tolerate is the ‘relaxing’ one. The light on the device pulses and can’t be turned off so that is actually a distraction for me when trying to drift off whilst listening to this. Some of the sound options also sound too short and on a loop which is disappointing.On the upside, this is handy and portable once it’s charged as it works unplugged. I just wish there were more sound choices and a way to turn the light off! It’s not the best quality sleep soother for the price

It has six sounds including Rain, Forest, Ocean, Relax, Calm and White Noise. It is offered with an internal rechargeable battery so that it can be charged via USB cable. Most importantly, it has an automatic Shutdown feature because it can be set for15, 30 or 60 minutes.

This white noise machine needed charging up before use, which took about 2 hours with the included usb c cable. To turn it on you have to hold down the power button which automatically sets it to forest mode and breathing mode on the light, which makes the light fade in and out. A short press turns the light on a constant setting, and another press turns the light off. Another long press turns the machine offIt has several noise options - ocean (splashing waves), forest (tweeting birds), rain, relax and calm (soothing meditation music), and white noise which is a bit like static on a tv. I find rain the most relaxing! There’s also two volume buttons, the machine can go quite loud and also very quiet which is perfect for using in the bedroomIt also has a timer setting - 15, 30 and 60 minutes, which is indicated via 3 ‘bars’ of light on the button (one for 15, two for 30 etc, which is handy for reminding you how long you’ve set it to). What I find a tad annoying is that the timer setting lights can’t be turned off! Other than that, it’s a very good sleep aid and easy to use
