I am recovering from a torn meniscus injury from a recent hike. I've had a lot of discomfort and shooting pains in the knee and sometimes feel my knee is going to bend backwards due to the injury. I had already bought and tested another type of knee support which didn't work, it actually caused more pain, so chosing the correct product for an injury is also key.The good bit.. These supports are good quality and support the knee so well, i'm really impressed (and happy), the silicone grip at the top holds it in place and has never slipped - maybe important to note that measuring your knee and ordering the correct size is a must, as is hand washing them in tepid water to protect the silicone wave band at the top. I bought the 2-pack as I can wear one, whilst washing n drying the other. The supports are comfortable and I even forget I have it on. After 1 week of daily use the pain has decreased ( miniscus tears take 4 to 10 weeks to heal, i'm on week 4 now) and I am starting to trust my knee movements more. Once fully recovered i'm probably going to wear these as a precation and stable support for the knee on hikes in the future. The value for money is a no-brainer.

This knee brace never felt too tight or too warm even under jeans. Provided an adequate level of support and stability for my swollen and strained such that it didn’t feel like my knee cap was going to shoot out the front or back of my knee on every step. Also helped reduce the swelling with other RICE treatment.Feels great quality, and despite using it daily for weeks still looks and feels like it did the day I got it. Although the logo rubbed off on the inside of my trousers. Super easy to wash and dry too.

I wanted something to give extra support for days out with gentle walking on some uneven ground as I have weak joints and one knee is starting to be uncomfortable by the end of the day.I tried another knee brace, recommended by the doctor but it kept slipping and needing readjusting through the day. It was also bulky.Having ordered this I then had a minor fall in the house. I wore it for a couple of days doing everyday things and it seemed fine. I have now done a full day out walking with two three hour stints on a coach and can say it’s perfect for me.+ I used the sizing guide and medium fits well. It didn’t slip or need adjusting+ It was comfortable. It’s like a compression sock so must be tight but it didn’t feel uncomfortable. The elastic at the top created a little roll of thigh above it but nothing more than I’ve had with holdup stockings. Reviews indicate it might be less comfortable/effective in larger sizes but all good for me - within normal BMI range is the best I can think to give an indication+ You put it on like a sock. I put it on at 0630 and took it off at 2300. I could have taken it off earlier but didn’t feel the need to+ The price. You can’t go wrongNo negatives from me. On the basis of prevention not cure I’d definitely say give it a go. Although my other knee is not a problem I bought the two pack having read the reviews I was pretty sure it would work for me. It wasn’t a waste of money. Cheaper than buying a second at the single price for my bad knee or I can use it on my other knee

Had a really painful knee for a couple of weeks and tried this with fingers crossed. After 10 days of wearing it every day, my knee is now pain free. To be fair I can't say for certain if it would have got better on it's own but it did get better and better the longer I wore it :)

I ordered the large size in this but it was too tight. Ordered the extra large but it was too big. I managed to make it work by rolling the top over. They do offer good, firm support but really I didn’t find it comfortable to wear for any great length of time. If you’re smaller with thin legs it would probably work better for you but not great for plus sizes. They are so effectively tight they cut into the skin.

I've only worn this for two days so far as my knee seems to have healed faster than I expected. For the price I paid (£5.99) it's perfectly fine quality and did help, but it was a little too tight despite me carefully measuring my leg before ordering the size recommended on the size chart. Actually the only pain I have in my leg now is from it being too tight around my thigh. As I said, The quality is good enough and it seems to have done the job, and I would buy it again, but I'd definitely go a size up next time.
