Love this item, it has a good weight to it and feels and looks high quality. We used it with the special Grohe fixative as we didn't want to drill through the tiles. The fixative is expensive and you can get much cheaper toilet roll holders but we feel the expense is worth it.

Probably the top end of loo-roll holders in terms of price. Replacing an existing one which had suffered from being leant on by small children... this Grohe one is slim but feels absolutely rock solid, with a solid wall fixing.

Great quality as expected from this brand. Although the hoop is fixed, it is big enough to accomodate a bigger paper roll, which is what I wanted.Hubby fitted it, and used the sticky tape & the screws. However, he said the rawlplugs provided are inadequate for fixing the holder to a plasterboard wall, they went straight through the hole - I suppose they're ok if you are going to fix the toilet roll holder to a tiled wall. So, I bought some rawlplugs specifically for plasterboard walls, and that solved the problem.

Very good quality as you would expect, however they aren't reversible. I bought 4 for our bathrooms, but the last one couldn't be installed because the intended install location needed toilet paper to be loaded from the opposite side.
