How to turn on the Safe AQ Pro I blood glucose monitor?
- The meter will turn on after installing the battery or inserting a test strip.
- Before using your meter for the first time, you will be prompted to set the year, date, and time. Please press the left button to select, and press the right button to confirm.
Note:
- You will not be able to perform a blood glucose test until you complete the first-time setup.
- Sinocare Safe AQ Pro I Blood Glucose Meter can only be used with sinocare Safe AQ Pro I Blood Glucose Test Strips, other types of test strips are not applicable.
- After inserting the batteries, the glucometer will enter the date and time adjustment mode. If there is no need to change them, please press the right button multiple times to confirm until it is turned off.
- Write the discard date (6 months after opening the vial) on the vial label when you open it for the first time. Discard the remaining test strips after the discard date.
- Use 75% alcohol cotton pads for disinfection. Do not use iodine or disinfectant.
- Please don't sterilize repeatedly, wait for the alcohol to evaporate.
- It is necessary to complete the blood-sucking process at one time. If the blood is not full at one time, please do not add blood samples, just replace them with new test strips for testing.
- When the meter starts testing, do not move the test strip, and do not press any buttons of the meter.
- Results from alternative sites don't reflect your current blood glucose level.
- Adjust the depth of your lancing device according to your skin thickness.
