    There seems a lot of ingredients for a glucosamine supplement, but we haven't noticed any difference with our cat's behaviour from his regular supplements, so I'm assuming it's working well.It doesn't seem to bother him on his food, so that's a winner too.

    My ageing GSD has been on glucosamine and chondroitin supplements for a while and it does help with his joints. There's a load of information of the benefits of such supplements on the www if you care to read further about it.What I can say about these supplements specifically is that they arrived factory sealed, very clearly labelled, dosages well explained and stated on the container and that my dog is happy to take these alongside his regular food without issue. He has been reluctant to take similar things before and has had to be coaxed to take them, but not so with this stuff.I'm pretty careful what I'd give to my dog but happy to continue with this.

    In a 5g scoop there is 600mg of active ingredient, meaning that the remaining 4.4g are from maltodextrin, proteins, MOS (a prebiotic), and magnesium stearate.This is baffling, and certainly not what I would call an 'Advanced Formula', especially when it contains a large amount of maltodextrin which is a highly processed carbohydrate that effectively is worse than sugar.Typically I would supplement my dog's food by breaking open a capsule of a supplement, or a few of them, and mix that into their food. The advantage of this product is that you don't have to do that, and you can just scoop it in.But, realistically, 88% of this product is filler, and serves no practical purpose other than to overcharge and use up more plastic for a larger-than-necessary scoop and tub.When I realised this, I just used the tub to store other powdered supplements for my dogs. Other supplements I use contain far more of the active ingredients by percentage.I would not recommend this product and would advise the brand to recreate their formula by completely cutting out the filler.
