As the subject heading suggests, with access to gyms limited for many of us, more than ever we need to get creative when it comes to maintaining a fitness routine and this is a perfect piece of kit for that. This type of resistance band is often dismissed by some as just being for those rehabilitating and/or elderly etc and not really for anyone wanting a "proper" muscle workout. I think this is a big mistake and means missing out on a really useful addition to anyone's workout whatever the level.Yes, of course it can for those who need a gentle return to physical exercise and these bands will provide a much gentler and comparatively less stressful option for that. But it is no way limited to just that type of person. Especially with the range of bands included, you can really create a hard workout if you want it.And there is the practical aspect that the whole body workout comes in a neat bag which takes up a tiny space. So if you're like me in a small central london flat - only being able to dream of a proper free weights bench - then this is a great option to ensure that you're keeping up your muscle workouts in these difficult times.On the important issue of quality, it all seems to be heavy duty and well made but of course it's not possible to really know how well it lasts until much longer. But at this stage the bands seem to be of a good strength that doesn't suggest they will deteriorate as rapidly as some of the sub standard ones out there.One note for those who might need a lot of instruction. It comes with a very simple booklet which at first sight might not seem much. Especially in these days of more flashy products which offer all sorts of dvds and guides. Don't be fooled by thinking that they give you more. The booklet has a great range of exercises and once you get used to the diagrams, you'll have plenty to work with.And don't forget the internet is your friend! There is an absolute mountain of professional videos out there showing you exercises you can do so you'll never run out of suggestions for taking your workout to whatever level you want to go. Bought this HYBRID Resistance Bands Set after looking for a good quality, convenient, space saving alternative to a multi-gym. On arrival they were well packaged and seemed of good quality. I wasn't that surprised though after reading through a good few reviews on Bolo from 1.5k+ previous customers. I have to say i WAS surprised at the price as considerably cheaper than similar products. Used them yesterday for the 1st time, and did a full range of different exercises. Arms, shoulders, lats, and legs. Just a quick try out as I was in the middle of clearing out my shed. Was impressed by the strength and versatility of them but didn't seem to do very much. Had another half hour session after dinner though but again didn't seem to be a lot of effort. How wrong I was though. Woke up this morning stiff back muscles, forearms, pecs, and thighs! They definitely did something with very little effort. Happy with my purchase so far. Obviously not had them long enough to judge long term use but at this price i would just buy another set. In fact....i might do anyway as it gives many more exercise "weight" variations.
