Good wheel, but strong vibration cannot be avoided
This wheel is really not slippery, it holds well on the asphalt even if the road is wet, unlike other models, using which I once fell hard while driving on a wet section of the road.
Stupid
The tire is much smaller than they say. It is 8 inches not 8 1/2 inches way too small for my scooter. The inner diameter does not even fit the wheel. I wouldn’t mind except for I have to go to a drop off to return it.
Very difficult to get on, but worth it.
This was DIFFICULT to install, you need to boil the tire for 15 minutes before you attempt to install, after which I would recommend wearing a pair work gloves as it will be HOT. The process for installation is not easy, it took me 15-20 of finagling and I was exhausted afterwards. However, I noticed that my scooter doesn’t use as much charge anymore and I won’t have to worry about inner tubes going flat anymore. As was mentioned in other reviews, it does ride slightly rougher and louder than the stock pneumatic tire, but the benefits are apparent immediately. Unlike other reviews, I didn’t notice a difference in the handling and cornering of my scooter at all. If you having doubts about being able to install this, you need to be fairly strong and dexterous, otherwise I would recommend going with the inner tube set up if you truly think you wouldn’t be able to install this, or find a bike shop that will agree to install it for you.
