Why did you choose this product over others?:Actually, really impressed with this product. Is easy to use and easy to set up. Signing into the app can be a bit of a pain and configuring it with Alexa but when set up works fine. Hose could be a bit longer on the back I’ve had to put an extension on to get to the windows.Lots of reviews saying it’s quite noisy however I feel it is not bad better than some Aircon units I’ve seen and used.Set up on my landing upstairs of which there are six rooms upstairs, and it reduced all of the rooms upstairs including my son‘s room which went from 27°c to 22°c in just over an hour. Which I was quite impressed with. Also can feel the cool effect within my study on the ground floor at the bottom of the stairs.

Highly recommend the unit, cools the room down quickly and worth the money. Only issue is the hose is very short and difficult to maneuver.

Pros: is it cold? Yes. 8.8C measured. Hence the 3 stars. It functions as an air conditioner.It looks niceMids;Tube length is fine. Like 2m or so. Just put it near a window.Noise? About as loud as a fridge condenser. Because it basically is. You decide if that's too loud. For me it was completely reasonable for what it's doing.Cons;Blows the air vertically upwards and that is it. No fan tilt feature for over £700 is crazy.Screen doesn't turn off or dim in any way. It's very bright at night. About as bright as a phone screen on low honestly.You must download the app for basic features such as a timer. This is annoying but fine. Until the thing disconnects every 10 minutes and then turns on in the middle of the night for no reason. Or switches mode for no reason or just won't turn on at all via the app.It's gotten so frustrating that I am now returning this product.Honestly.Id probs say avoid Delonghi air con units and find something better for the money.

Cooling ability:I bought this item as the one I had sometimes fired hot air instead of cold. The only problem so far was the pipe to expel hot air. Initially I thought I was doing something wrong as no matter what I did, I could not place the pipe to expel the hot air outside. It was when I measured the length of=ff the pipe compared the lengths and was very surprised how much shorter the pipe was. 6 inch unstretched. Considering it's a premium make, I was very surprised the the pipe was so much shorter, profit matters I guess. Apart from that, it seems ok.

Had the WiFi unit for 3 summers and is brilliant, it comes with a remote control or use the app via WiFi. The Real setting is fantastic adjusts temperature and humidity. I did buy an extension hose as the supplied hose was too short 2 metre, and my window was 3 metres. Not silent but not annoying.

Absolute waste of money . Hose too short and keeps disconnecting from the unit. Wi-Fi function difficult to connect no matter what you do.
