Description:
Probably the most famous of our speciality breads, our 400g crumpet loaf combines the chewy, aerated texture of crumpets with the convenience of a thickly sliced bread loaf for toasting. Slick some butter on to a hot toasted slice and watch as it melts into a hundred tiny buttery bubbles

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious!
Less stodgy than a crumpet, more sustaining than a slice of toast, so it's a good idea that it comes as a small loaf.Equally delicious buttered, savoury or sweet.Perfect for a special brunch or tea but perhaps a little expensive to add to a weekly shop.
4.0 out of 5 stars good product . . . . . BUT
the bread tasted good and was IK with marmalade, soup etc.,.....BUT......when it was delivered it had a very short use by date, just two days, and even three small loaves was to much for me to eat in such a short time, then i noticed that mould was appearing, storeage is OK when i have to keep one item for a couple of days, but not this much, this long, i may re-order but I'm doubtful because of possible short use by dates, otherwise the product was good!!
3.0 out of 5 stars Not for me
Didn't seem to be much of a crumpet loaf to me quite heavy but tasted fresh wouldn't buy again and the price is a bit steep for what they are
5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious 😋
This bread is absolutely amazing, a cross between a crumpet and toast and worth every penny. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out on a taste sensation.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not low carb at all 21g carb per slice!
Tastes nice but reason for buying was the low carb statement! A normal laof is about 18g carb a slice so how this can be 21g a slice and labled low carb is beyond me! The price is very expensive for 3 loafs only paid as again thought was low carb completely wasted my money as I can't eat them feel cheated.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ok
Not keen on these at all, they taste OK, but took a long time to toast. The slices are very thick too, thicker than Warburtons toasties loaf. Lol. The thank you biscuit that came with them was ok, raspberry puree was lovely, biscuit to soft, more of a pastry texture than a biscuit. Thanks anyway.
2.0 out of 5 stars overpriced for what you receive
far too overpriced for what it is did not find very tasty and just seemed like soggy bread inside once toasted also dates are very short as all 3 had 21st on and i only received them on 19th ended up binning mine.would not buy again
