Very effective pump at a good price. Very handy that it uses Dewalt batteries. In my situation it pumps water from a stream up about 5 metres with a good flow. Fills a 168 litre water butt in about 20 minutes. The flat filter on the inlet is a good feature - I laid it on a tile in the stream to prevent contamination with leaves etc. Straightforward to fit a standard garden hose onto the pump with a few easily obtained accessories. Also effective for use as a garden hose. My water butt is connected from the tap to a soaker hose.

This works with 18 volt XR batteries. I nearly didn't buy this pump because they incorrectly advertise it as only for Dewalt 20 volt batteries. Must have lost them loads of sales in Europe. In the USA, Dewalt brand the batteries based on the charging voltage which is 20volts (probably because it makes them sound more powerful). In Europe they have to specify the battery voltage which is 18volts. The only difference between the US and European batteries is the part number and the artwork.I needed a pump to empty a couple of large water features before the winter freeze. This pump emptied my 2.6m long woodland stream in about 5 minutes. About 100 litres, pumped 1.5m uphill across 20m of lawn, to the surface water drain. Used 3m of 3/4" hose for the inlet and regular 15mm garden hose on the outlet. Self primed, uphill, from dry within a couple of seconds. Used 1 indicator light on 4ah battery. The supplied strainer has a large flat face and allowed me to pump out the sump right to the bottom without getting leaves into the pump. A brilliant piece of kit. So glad I spent the time to research DeWalt battery specs

This is a good pump however I would question the performances claimed by the manufacturer.I use it for emptying a water butt for watering plants, it isn't particularly powerful it works with a hose.Note: Try to situate the pump as close to the source you wish to pump, as the suction side is poor.

Use this for getting the last bit of water out of the hot tub. Easy to set up. Little heavy but it’s robust. Neat little tool with it that enable the feeder tube to lie flat so you get out as much water as possible

excellent pump drain the sytem quick,like vented cyluinder central heating sytem radiater etc flow rate is best .as heating engineer would highly recommend it .

So far, very impressive for the money. The two fittings supplied seem to be BSP so maybe that’s is an update. It really needs a 3/4 pipe on the inlet and it doesn’t come with a spigot for that, but less than £3. 1/2” hose on the outlet works great and spigot supplied for this. The battery compartment only fits traditional Dewalt batteries (up to 5kwh). I have a newer wider battery and a large chainsaw battery that won’t fit. The pump does rather kill the batteries as well. I’m running approx 100m of hosing to water trees over fairly level ground and it works a treat, for about 20 minutes per battery, but my batteries are a few years old now.

Sehr starke Pumpe, stark selbstansaugend, sehr gute Leistung
Diese Pumpe hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Sehr starke Ansaugung; sehr guter Durchsatz und Druck. Benötigt viel Akkuleistung.Gute Verarbeitung, Messing Anschlüsse. Mit €110 fast zu billig im Vergleich zu anderem Zubehör.Habe ich als Alternative zu den üblichen Pumpenaufsätzen für Bohrmaschine gekauft. Damit kann man alleine immer so schwer arbeiten oder man muss sich erst eine Halterung bauen. Aber die meisten der Bohrmaschineaufsätze sind Kreiselpumpen, keine Impeller, deshalb saugen die kaum an.

Pompe très pratique !Pour une meilleure utilisation, j'ai acheter des tuyaux de diamètre 19. Au top ! Ainsi, le moteur ne force pas.Niveau bruit, cela reste plus que raisonnable.
Great for watering garden.
Used for the first time this evening to water my garden from a 1000L tote.Pump worked perfectly. Allowed watering from a hose. Relatively quiet and plenty of water. So far great product! Makes watering my garden much easier.
High Water Flow
I bought it to pump and flush my hot water tank with and it performed flawlessly. I removed the cheap plastic drain valve on my water tank and installed a high quality full open port drain valve, and between that and this pump wow what a huge difference. Now I can flush my water tank better (sediment comes out much easier because of the higher flow) and also much faster. The bucket method took me almost an hour to drain my 40gal tank whereas now it only takes 5-7mins if that. This pump is well worth the $70 price and I love how it is a cordless battery operated pump too. I use 1 of my 20v Dewalt batteries on it. The pump also has a light on it that you can turn on or off as you wish as well. It also feels like it has a good quality build to it. Great cordless pump that you can take wherever you need it and without worrying about finding an outlet to plug in a power cord, which is another big advantage obviously. I am very happy with this pump.
