5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive and comfortable boots!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } These are the perfect pair of boots for hiking. I did not have to break them in at all, and they were so comfortable. They have also kept my ankle safe from rolling a couple of times, and have served me well in the rain.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great So far
Big improvement on that Karrimor rubbish i used to wear. Shoes are comfortable, and are clearly well made. Looks like they will last much longer
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable
Excellent quality comfortable practical , very good support , you don't normally get support that good on a lightweight boot .
5.0 out of 5 stars Merrels my personal Favourites.
Ordered these and a oaur of Salmons. Salamons seemwd to be too narrow, where as these were perfect. Light weight and very comfortable, grip seems good and with hele waterin the Norwegian fjords during rain and a motorboat trip. Cant complain at all.Early days but heres hoping as my last set of Merrels were amazing and good to have thwm back on my feet.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable!
Fantastic fit, very comfortable with no break on needed.Wore them on a hike in Wales, did slip once in them but overall very good.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not replacement for previous Moabs
These replaced an “identical” pair which lasted many years before the sole wore through. They are not identical. The fit is different - needed a size bigger. The insole is not as thick - can feel the lugs on the outer side so it’s a lumpy feel on the bottom of the foot. On frosty pavements they are lethal. The compound used for the sole is much harder and very skiddy. Wish I had not bought them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Merrell boots
Outstanding boot. Comfortable, great value as normal for merrell boots. Does all it says. I have owned a pair of merrell burmas for 26 years...and they remain my go to boots for general hikes. I expect these to also last as well.
1.0 out of 5 stars Waterproof my A*se
Was comfortable enough but they are having a serious giraffe if they think they're waterproof - even walking through short grass after a light shower they let in water. Wouldn't wear them in town if it is raining let alone any serious hiking.
Great product

excellent boots and light weight
great boots, had to purchase 1/2 size up to accommodate thicker socks for hiking.
La qualité
Que chaque fois j'ai ce que j'ai choisi. Aucune surprise.
Brilliant shoes. I'll be buying these again
I purchased these in Men's, in US 8, uk7.5, eur 41.5, jpn 26. Merrell Men's Moab 3 Mid GTX Hiking BootMy actual foot is 24.5cm long, so my true size should be 1.5 sizes smaller, but I wanted space to wear very thick socks. My feet are also slightly wider than average compared to the length, and these fit really well. (9.8cm at the widest point)These are very comfortable, and didn't need "wearing in". Great for foot support, and slightly weak ankles. (I've previously had many sprains and one ankle break). They keep the feet very warm, and dry when on short walks with some small puddles and brief walks over wet grass. They seem very similar to the Moab 2, the previous version.I also purchased the womens size US8.5, uk 6, eur39, jpn 25.5cm. These also fit really well, and are pretty much the same fit, but 1/2 a size smaller. A couple/few mm's less wide, and about 5mm shorter. I wear thick socks with these too.
Comfortable for long day hikes, no blisters !
Hands down the best hiking shoes out there. My husband loves them. He had Moab 2 previously which had worn out from all the hiking in past 5 years. So I got him this upgrade for his birthday, and he wears this pair with equal excitement. So far this pair has seen and lived the terrain of Lofoten Islands, Dolomites, Mt Blanc and still going strong. Long lasting, comfortable for long day hikes. I recommend getting the ankle ones. You’d enjoy, highly recommended.
