5.0 out of 5 stars Stuff is awesome
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Easy to clean, not really that smelly (i dont mind it) you can really play around with the cure and print settings. Its pretty forgivable even for speedier printing. Using a Orange 10, i could print at .05 at 20s/4 layer bottom, 7 sec per layer and get quick prints with this. But also .01 or .025 at 4s a layer (it printed but warped during curing - so probably slow cure or leave to degass before curing?)Don't leave it in water for a long time as your prints will weaken or melt (it is water washable) that or paint for use outdoors or if near any water. Easy to sand and paint. It is a little temperature sensitive, normal room temp is good. Too cold or a cool room can create failed prints warmer is better. But a summer style heat can cure to quick and crack prints.Prints will harden more the longer they're left. I've dropped a couple of prints from waist height onto carpet and they've shattered or snapped. But something fairly thick you could leave a dent in a wall with. Cool stuff.
5.0 out of 5 stars My first foray into 3D printing
I use an Elegoo Mrs 5 Ultra for my 3D printing.I bought this resin due to the apparent simplicity in cleaning post printing and I have been impressed. The price is as good as the ease of use.I’ve printed mostly miniature gaming figures, and the results are excellent with little to no apparent shrinkage.Once the mini is dry after washing with just cold water (no soap) and cured via the UV light, the finished detail is excellent. The attached pictures are post UV, no cleaning or removing any imperfections
5.0 out of 5 stars Not just useful for SLA printers, but also FDM.
This product is obviously for people who have and run an SLA printer, AKA resin printer. My use for it is actually with an FDM printer, the resin is an excellent way of post processing FDM prints to create ultra smooth prints that have then be painted, creating an object that looks like it was injection molded and painted with an ultra smooth paint.I bought this to supplement the bottle of elegoo ABS like resin, which is thicker than this, both have uses where you might need a thicker resin to fill a larger gap (and you can add talc to these resins to make them even thicker) where this more fluid liquid is good for providing a smooth, level, and thin covering of larger surfaces. The resin when using this method is incredibly easy to use, but beware, the fumes from this are not something you want to be inhaling, so if you’re going this route, you need at the very least a good quality respirator, don’t go cheap, your lungs are pretty important and a good quality respirator from a reputable manufacturer with proper certification can be obtained for less than the price of this resin. You’ll also need to wear gloves, this stuff is not something you want on your skin, the resin cures by UV light in a matter of seconds, and as the chemical reaction occurs, heat is produced, get this stuff on your hands and venture outside you’re potentially going to get burns. Finally, you’ll want either an enclosed curing box or a pair of glasses that block the UV light if (like me) you use a UV torch to set the resin, the torch I bought was about 7 pounds and it has worked absolutely brilliantly for me.Those are the main safety points when using the resin.I apply the resin to the 3D part using a brush (that came with the ABS resin), I work on one small section at a time, brushing on the resin and quickly putting it under the light. Working fast between the application of the resin means that the resin does not migrate from where you want it to a pool caused by surface tension, working only in small areas and minimising the time between painting and curing means that you have much more control over getting the resin where you want it.Pay attention to pooling, you don’t want the resin in small hard to reach areas because it can be tricky to remove, use the brush to move resin out from any pooled areas. The resins from the resin painting are brilliant, I took a few pictures through my glasses, and it’s difficult to see in the photos, but when the resin cures you see it visibly darken when looking through the glasses, this is incredibly useful because it allows you to see if you’ve missed any spots, and after sanding the resin down, again, you can see where the resin has filled the surface. After a few rounds of application and sanding, I lm able to go up to 12000 grunt sandpaper and running my fingers over the part feels smooth like an ice cube.I can’t comment on how well it works directly with an SLA wprinter because I don’t have one, but it works fantastic for finishing FDM parts.Highly recomended.
4.0 out of 5 stars Recommend for beginners
Great product easy washable in mild soapy water smells a little tho, makes great prints
5.0 out of 5 stars One of the better water washable resins ive used.
Very little noticable smell while printing. Good quality prints once you adjust your settings to suit.Make sure to shake before use as the pigment can come loose.
5.0 out of 5 stars slightly friendlier resin
I have used this over normal resin for a while. Prints are very good quality, It still smells but not as much as other resins.
5.0 out of 5 stars my go to resin
i prefer water washable resin as you don't need the alcohol on it, but still need to make sure the resin is rinsed and cured, i fine the print quality and detail is no different to normal resin, i know some people say the water washable resin is more brittle but i haven't noticed, i may just be what i am printing, isnt thin enough to be affected, but i have printing the small models from full spectrum dominance with it just fine
5.0 out of 5 stars Suitable for higher definition 3D printers.
The only reason for buying this resin is for use in a 3D Printer. Since upgrading my printer and switching to 16K resin I am now able to scale models down to 1/72 without the failures I used to experience.

(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Love working with this resin, have reordered it multiple times. Parts come out looking so soft and smooth without any sanding. The beige color almost has a skin like translucency to it. Really easy to push it to different skin tones with a little bit of resin dye. Keep in mind the color with appear lighter/whiter after curing. It technically is water washable, but i would recommend using a cleaner like simple green to make sure the parts are thoroughly washed, or they will cure with a white cloudily surface that will need to be sanded off. I found that curing submerged in a glass helps with color consistency and preventing the color from lightening too much while curing. Pretty good value for such a high quality resin.
Great results
Great product
very good product
IT IS A VERY CONSISTENT RESIN I LIKE IT.
Begie Color: Hours of calibration, just a bad resin
The problem with this resin is that you have to WAY overexpose it before it will be strong enough to hold prints on to their supports.I am very experienced with 3D printing, and I am certain this in not user error. At a reasonable exposure where you can achieve detail, the resin is too soft to adhere to itself and the build plate. Once you get enough exposure for the resin to adhere, it turns so brittle it cracks easily, and details start to run together.
Clean up
Love this stuff so easy to clean up just dont spill it on wood finish.
