They're durable and fit well, and very effective and I only buy these. Definitely worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it's says
Good fit, comfortable to wear
5.0 out of 5 stars Take a deep breath...
Although FFP3 standard masks are often used in medical situations for protection from COVID I don't think these are intended for that use, but don't take my non-medical word for it. There's an exhalation valve in these which lets your steamy breath exit the mask but that's not so helpful if you're trying to protect those around you from the possibility of infection from that same steamy breath. On the other hand it is quite useful if you wear spec's and would prefer that steamy breath didn't continually fog the issue. It does make quite a big difference but you still have to ensure a good seal around the bridge of your nose and luckily there's an effective metal strip inside the mask and a foam strip on the inner surface to make that happen. The whole mask feels substantial and excellent quality but it remains relatively easy to inhale and you don't feel like your breathing has been too restricted. That said I wouldn't want to be wearing one while running a marathon. They're fairly comfortable for extended periods, they don't dig in, and the headstraps are not looped around your ears but rather loop around the back of your head. That means they stay in place without annoying your ears but it also means they're more of a faff to put on and take off. They're primarily intended for dusty or dirty jobs, including using aerosol-creating paint guns for example, and for that kind of purpose these seem excellent, though a bit pricey.
5.0 out of 5 stars comfortable to wear and the individual exhalation valve does a good job
What I find it good:- it has 10 of them in a box, individually wrapped, hygiene level is excellent- It is FFP3- every single one has an individual exhalation valve on it, it helps to prevent built-up most inside- it is CE Marked Certified & Tested by BSI- The quality of the face mask is excellent. I tried to pull the elastic loop hard and it won't break (well, I do break some on other brands so this is the first thing I actually tested on to make sure it won't happen again)- The cutting and folding make it fits very well on the face with nearly no visible gap- Most important is that it is very comfortable to wear even I sometimes wear it for long when I work on engraving- pricing is reasonable for this kind of qualityI occasionally use it when I work on laser engraving, when dealing with engraving on PVC type of material, the toxic gas is harmful to my lungs, I need a higher FFP rating face mask when dealing with those type of work
3.0 out of 5 stars Could use some adjustments.
I found the mask to be loose around the chin area. This was helped by pulling the upper elastic much tighter and tying a knot in it, though it was still not a proper tight fit under the chin. There's a good stiff wire over the nose allowing for a good tight fit there. Found the valve helpful in not having my glasses fog up.Have used the Handanhy HY9330 non-valved mask, it's a much better fit, which is why I thought I'd try the valved version. Not so good.
2.0 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable for prolonged use.
A disappointing mask that doesn’t seem to fit my face very well, it doesn’t cover the chin properly. Prolonged use will result in discomfort.Personally, not a good fit and it feels overpriced.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good dust mask
Good mask ,,,, fit very well over the chin (face) ,,,, I am happy with that
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the workshop!
I am a product design student and hence I am always in and out of the workshop. We always handle wood/plastics and usually we are exposed to chemicals, etc. Even though the workshop has great ventillation, it is still important to wear a dust mask that can filter out dust (from cutting woods/plastics) as well as any other airborne fumes such as chemicals from finishes and paint. These masks are very comfortable and feature some padding on the nose region, and is adjustable on the nose and string areas too. I found that these worked perfectly, they are thick and durable and can be worn all day without needing to be thrown out. They arrived in a box and individually wrapped to preserve the masks. Overall, a 5 star product, a little pricey but you really get what you pay for!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
