Because of the sensitivity most people had about not catching COVID, I got these tongs so that people could pick up olives, cheese and crackers and salami slices, small appetizers, cookies, etc., without having to touch them with their fingers. We had almost a hundred people coming. So, we needed enough for the food we were serving. They were also a great value given the price. While not fancy, they are not unattractive and served the purpose well even for an elegant event. And they were the perfect solution. I have since ordered another set. With COVID more or less in the rear view mirror, these tongs are still being used for our events.
