No instructions were supplied. To help others, if this is for the Purple Leaf rotating cantilever parasol (and probably others) you won’t need the metal base bars that come with that. Just screw straight onto the top of the base. Very simple and everything lined as it should. My Parasol is 2.7m and I’ve filled the base with water only. It is very stable without sand, 100L base and 1L water weighs 1kg (I did have to look this up 😊) Totally fit for purpose. Arrived quickly. It is quite high so If you are on the shorter side you might have to stand on it to fully open a cantilever Parasol. It is very robust and was OK with me standing on it (90kg) to put the Parasol into the base at assembly.

It was not clear which base I required for my cantilever parasol on the Bolo site. Since both products were in the same order why did Purple Leaf not contact me to query this. Now I have all the trouble and cost of a return of a very bulky item. Sigh!

When full this base provides good stability for the umbrella, had an issue with the base and reached out to purple leaf who fixed the issue with no hassle. Good quality product for a quality and repitable company.

Expensive for what it is. I bought the parasol not knowing it doesn’t come with the base even though it showed the base in the picture. Lots of bad reviews for this company which I didn’t see. Would not recommend Purple Leaf .
