The only reason this isn't 5-star for the price is because the description says quite.This fan is not quiet! I would not be able to sleep in speed 1.All in all, good desk fan with acceptable (but not quite) noise.

If I could give less stars I would. So loud and noisy like a motorbike. Then stops and starts to the point you have to turn it on and then leave it for it to come on by itself after a few minutes. Obviously past return stage. My old fan lasted almost 10 years and I couldn’t even get a full year out of this as this is my second one. First one stopped working pretty quickly and they replaced it and now this one has an awful smell coming off it after it stop start time!! Horrible!!
