They are both excellent, very comfortable and pretty hard wearing, and well made, the size uk9 has been spot on. Okay, now the which is better, this is quite an easy answer: its the merrell moab3, because it has a far better insole, it really does feel like ur wearing a very special pair of slippers, the heal fits better, there is a wider toe box, and the sole is more flexible. Merrell moab2, these have a harder wearing sole,(300mls to 350mls) compared to the moab3 (280mls to 320mls), moab2 is a tighter fit around the sides of the foot, slightly looser on the heal fit, and tighter on the toes ! The moab2 will last a little longer under average to heavy use ! But, the moab3 is just so wonderfully comfy from the first time u put them that a little bit less mileage ! Is not really a terrible thing . Both of these shoes are not very good on wet wooden surfaces such as decking or old wooden bridges, But ! Having owned various makes of walking shoe,(keen,salmon,merrell,and even nike) unless u are paying around £250/£300 ! No standard walking shoe is very good on “wet wood” , Excellent Shoes for less than £70, these are not the waterproof moab’s !

I purchased these shoes for my holiday to Vietnam and Japan knowing that I would be doing a lot of walking and I have to say they were great,they are still looking good and feeling great after covering 15k+steps per day for 9wks I can't say enough good things about them they really were so comfortable light and hard wearing.Highly recommended!

Truly a very good shoe. I got these and salamon that were around 40 pounds more than these. But these are just so much more comfortable and much less plastic.

Merrell have been my preferred leisure shoe for many years. Recommended by my podiatrist for support for foot and knee problems. This Moab ventilator is the 3. I have owned earlier versions and they have all lasted a long time nd been great value for money.

Ho optato per la versione traspirante invece che per il modello in goretex.La mia scarpa quindi non è interamente impermeabile, ma posso portarla tutto l'anno mantenendo il piede sempre ventilato e caldo in inverno e fresco in estate.Mi è capitato in estate di bagnarmi dovendo camminare di mattina su prati pieni di rugiada, ma poi la traspirazione fa asciugare in fretta.Per la mia esperienza sono molto comode e molto versatili, le porto anche per passeggiare in città.Mi sono affezionato subito e sono contento dell'acquisto

Har ett par Merrell Moab 2 sedan 2016 känns som nya, dock har de blivit lite avskavda och fula. För användning då utseendet är viktigt har jag därför köpt dessa nya Moab 3 vandringsskor. Jag är mycket nöjd.
