Another excellent flour from Matthew's mill. Wonderful flavour and really easy to work with. This makes my daily loaf. If you have room to store, then the bulk bag makes it an absolute bargain. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I have used Cotswold Crunch for several years and it can be an excellent flour, but in my experience the quality is variable. When it is good it is excellent and performs well but from time to time a batch gives difficulty with Bread not rising. I bought a 16Kg bag of this flour some time ago. I was a little worried at not being able to find an expiry date on the bag. Sadly it has been one of those lots that produces problems and I have had to add a lot of Gluten and mix it with other strong flours to get acceptable results. The flavour is also not as good as the better batches give. I don't have an explanation other than perhaps flour age or stock control. A good proportion of what I bought is in the compost heap. I will still buy the flour but not in such bulk.

This is the best bread flour mix ever! We've been making our own bread for quite some time and only recently bought a 1.5kg from Waitrose. It was so good that we've decided to buy a big bag. Easy to work with, gives a fantastic rise and the crunch is exactly that. We have some friends who wanted to watch us make bread and, using this mix, they were converted. It's great to be able to get such a qulaity product made by English experts. What more can we say?
