Paired this with a free app on my phone and it worked right away. Great for checking error codes and resetting warning lights, especially if youâre dealing with a stubborn check engine light. If you want deeper analysis, there are paid apps that give more detailed info â but for basic use, this works really well.Itâs compact, easy to set up, and does exactly what you need from a Bluetooth OBD2 reader. Definitely a good bit of kit to keep in the glovebox.

This handy device is an interface between the Bluetooth on your 'phone or tablet and the CAN bus on your car.As such, it acts rather like a cable connection and doesn't have any user interface.You need to install an app on your device in order to use it. I chose Car Scanner ELM OBD2 which you can download for free, but it displays adverts every now and then. Obviously this isn't a review of the software, so there's no point in my describing the application further, except to say that it seems to work well.I did have a bit of a problem with connecting the Bluetooth because I wasn't thinking properly, and tried to pair it with my MIDI wind controller at first. Of course, you need to connect to the device that starts with NEXAS to make it work. I probably need to get a new brain.Anyway, the adapter seems to work perfectly.

I was a little sceptical at first, but this scanner turned out to be really handy. Setup was quick, it paired with my phone without any hassle, and it works well with the apps suggested in the manual. Iâve used it to check a couple of codes and monitor live data, and it gives me the info I need right away. Itâs nice not having to run to the mechanics every time the check engine light pops up. Feels reliable and the connection has been solid so far. Definitely a useful tool to keep in the glove box.

This is a very small Bluetooth enabled OBDII reader with an even smaller instruction sheet. This contains no information about using On Board Diagnostics for identifying faults or resetting systems. Instead, it deals with the Bluetooth connection and provides a list of Android and iOS Apps which should work with the scanner. Using my Samsung phone connecting to "NEXAS250xxxx" was straightforward if rather slow. However, the first couple of Android apps listed in the instructions, that I downloaded, wanted to have nothing to do with my scanner. This maybe because they all wanted rather too much personal information via registration as well as too many permissions on my phone. I don't allow any apps unfettered access to my phone. It seems only sensible.A lot of apps are listed in the instruction sheet and I persevered, eventually trying out three of them that were not too intrusive. All offered very basic functionality unless I bought a subscription to them. Frankly, for an average of ÂŁ60 per year I could soon buy a stand alone OBD scanner and avoid the hassle. This, I fear, is the big disadvantage of specialised apps.Getting to this stage of discovery took just over two hours, but I am sure if you were to say "yes" to everything your progress would be a lot quicker. Agree to pay money and you'd get more functions. A comparison of the different apps and the functions they offer would be a real bonus.I want a physically small OBD scanner that I can leave in my car in case the Check Engine light illuminates when I am far from home. Incidentally, leave in the car not leave plugged in. My VW OBD socket remains powered even if the ignition is turned off; so contrary to the advertising, it will eventually drain my car's battery. For ÂŁ30 I would expect NexLink to provide their own app; although this scanner meets my requirement I am disappointed.

This OBD2 scanner worked first try with minimal fuss. I just found the OBD port, plugged it in and found it with my phone using one of the suggested apps. It provided all the information I needed and can be kept plugged in if you would like to collect data as you drive.

Que ce soit pour ma moto ou ma voiture, le résultat est toujours convaincant, ce qui me rassure quant à la fiabilité générale du diagnostic. De plus, le fait qu'il soit compatible avec plusieurs applications tierces est un vrai plus qui facilite grandement son utilisation. Vraiment, il répond parfaitement à mes attentes.

Il est vraiment compact et la notice dĂ©taille assez bien son utilisation, pour le reste des fonctionnalitĂ©s, cela dĂ©pend Ă©videmment de lâapplication choisie.Il se connecte facilement en Bluetooth au tĂ©lĂ©phone et ensuite vous nâavez plus quâĂ lire les capteurs : Je lâai testĂ© sur un Ford C-Max de 2003, il Ă©tait tout Ă fait compatible avec et mâa mĂȘme repĂ©rĂ© un code dâerreur dont jâignorais lâexistence, code que jâai pu effacer trĂšs simplement grĂące Ă lui !Pour le reste, il fournit bien entendu toutes les donnĂ©es possibles et imaginables sur le moteur et les autres systĂšmes lors du fonctionnement (tempĂ©rature liquide de refroidissement, position du papillon, charge moteur⊠etc). Je nâirais pas jusquâĂ dire quâil remplacerait une valise dâun garage pro, mais pour son prix et les fonctionnalitĂ©s quâil offre il est vraiment trĂšs attractif !!

C'est un peu incomplet comme matĂ©riel mais ça fonctionne. Avec une application dĂ©diĂ©e, l'appareil permet d'identifier les messages erreur de la voiture, de les comprendre et d'agir en consĂ©quence sans forcĂ©ment ĂȘtre facturĂ© au garage pour ce simple passage de valise.
