Those out off by the money shouldn't be. They speed up getting ready for bag work and distribute the force really well while punching.They start off very tight but stick with them, they get better with time.

Over a couple of decades training and fighting Muay Thai, I came to understand the importance of wrapping knuckles and wrists properly before doing any bag work, sparring or fighting. Part of this process involves applying tape over wraps once they're on - paying particular attention to the areas in between the fingers and around the wrists. This keeps the wraps in place and prevents them from rubbing against skin when punches land - this is especially important when punching a heavy bag wearing bag gloves (which are thin and at 6-8 ounces don't contain much padding), but less vital when sparring or fighting while wearing full-size 16-ounce Muay Thai gloves, which have a lot more cushioning. One learning experience happened when I never bothered to tape my wraps in place before putting on my bag gloves and doing a session on the heavy bag. Afterwards, when I took off my gloves and wraps, I saw that the skin of my knuckles had been stripped off by the repeated rubbing of the canvas wraps against my knuckles. After that, I always taped my wraps before doing any pad or bag work. My wraps of choice are Everlast Pro 180-inch wraps with velcro fastenings. You can buy a pair of those for less than £10. When I saw these Fortress padded wraps I was curious about how well they would work - especially considering their wildly expensive price.Are they worth £65? Not really. They are effective, though. The design is fairly innovative, and I do appreciate the time-saving aspect. They can be put on in a few seconds, whereas applying traditional wraps and then taping them in place takes a few minutes. I chose the large size, which fits tightly around my knuckles - this is the desirable fit for wraps; if they're too loose - even a tiny bit loose - this will allow abrasive movement against your knuckles and could result in a de-skinning that hinders your training until your hands have healed. Traditional wraps can be applied to fit any size of hands, whereas these Fortress wraps don't have that versatility - so it's vital that you get the right size. If you buy a pair and find them even a little loose, I recommend wearing traditional wraps (taped appropriately) underneath the Fortress wraps. A pair of 1-metre traditional wraps are included in the box along with the pair of Fortress padded wraps. For anyone with weak wrists, I recommend wearing regular wraps underneath the padded Fortress wraps. Wrist pain in boxing and/or martial arts is usually the result of poor punching technique, so if you're experiencing wrist pain during/after training, you should examine the mechanics of your technique and then make necessary adjustments.On the product page for these Fortress wraps, I noticed that among the people endorsing the product were a "World Champion Bare-Knuckle Fighter" and a "Professional Bare-Knuckle Boxer". A "World Champion Bare-Knuckle Fighter" endorsing hand wraps is like a "World Champion Nudist" endorsing underpants. Just an observation. True bare-knuckle fighters don't wear anything on their hands.Quality wraps. Innovative design. Lovely packaging. Ludicrously high price.

Used many wraps in my boxing journey and these are 100% the best. The padding is amazing and they are so easy to use.

Got these for my partner, he said they were ok for bag work but not for sparring. He’s heavyweight and thought these might be ok for someone in a lighter weight category but they offered no protection for him whilst sparring.

A mi me ha llegado demasiado grande. En la página web del vendedor hay 3 tamaños distintos.
I really like them
They protect my knuckles well and seem to be holding up well as far as the quality. They are maintaining their shape/tightness after about 15 sessions x 60-90 minutes and stitching still looks perfect. I added my own pair of 120 inch Mexican style wraps because the 1 meter (40 inches) ones that came with them are too short to support the hand and wrist with the Fortress wraps, as they are.

Gut und hochwertig
Die Bandagen passen sehr gut und haben eine gute Qualität. Leider halten sie nach mehrfachen Wäschen nicht so gut und das Material löst sich. Aber es wird hier auch 3mal die Woche stark beabsprucht und ist an sich ein super Produkt!
