    I bought several of these frames for my new house. They work perfect. Now there were a couple of them that were missing a couple of parts. I contacted the company and they had the parts shipped to me within a few days. That makes this product and company first rate.

    Good product easy to install

    Soft Close failed on all doors purchased

    I purchased 2 of these doors a little over a year ago. One soft close feature failed around a month after installing. The company replaced it which necessitates removing part of the molding to remove the door and replace. That one also failed along with the mechanism on the other door.

    It's mostly good, but not entirely happy with design

    I do a lot of renovation work but this was my first pocket door install. In hindsight I wish I had been a little more careful shopping. The primary problem with this design is the steel wall studs; they are steel on all sides. Other designs I've since seen "wrap" a piece of wood with one side 90% exposed. With the all-sides steel, attaching the drywall and especially the split jambs becomes a problem. You can't nail; you must use self-tapping metal screws or use an adhesive. To me, it complicates install and further complicates needing to remove jambs if you need to service door or rollers.Another note on selecting this style kit; it does not include any horizontal cross bars as other pocket door kits do. I am improvising a cross bar at the floor so there is "something" to attach floor trim to (without resorting to gluing to drywall).Installation was fairly easy but the printed directions could use considerable improvement. Watch the video in the product page; that helps a lot. The most frustrating part of installation was with the assorted fasteners (screws). Either they were "not included" (user supplied) or not packaged with the component that needed them. I ended up with some unexplained extra screws and improvised in other places.The kit is otherwise made well; the self-close feature is very slick; the rollers are quiet. If was simple to adjust the door size. Measurement/placement instructions were spot-on.

    First time installing this kit. It was pretty easy to install & the soft close, ball bearing glides are nicer than anything you can find in stock at a home improvement store. Only complaint is that it isn’t that sturdy. I had to install some vertical supports between the metal studs to keep it from moving when you open the door.
