Chose this because of the brand name and its quality reputation. Out of the box and the first thing you notice is its size. its Big! second thing is its weight! you get the impression that this could be used in a commercial kitchen. using it for the first time last week to blend a curry gravy, If I'm honest, I was a little disappointed as it didn't seem to have the oomph of my old one .It didn't blend as well as I had hoped, but perhaps its just a question of getting used to it. I do think though that this will last a life time, so lets persevere and hopefully it will come good.

Love this handblender. It is excellent for soups and I am very pleased with it. Does the job very efficiently, good sturdy quality.

This blender is a sleek easy to use device. It mixes style with power and is easy to control. The variable speed of this blender adds to the accuracy of whatever you use it on to give the right consistency. Easy to clean afterwards with a damp cloth it is a real ‘aid’ in the kitchen.

The blender is great. Much quieter than expected and powerful enough to make smooth soup and pulsesThe plastic guard is great at protecting the pans from scratching

I make a lot of soup and this corded version is ideal. It is light and can be used in your saucepan. The blender has an attachment which you for around the blade to prevent the pan from scratching. Love it. Not the cheapest but we'll worth it.
