First for my cooker top, it's electric, so wait till cools before putting back, slides nicely down the side of my cooker when cooker top in use. Creates extra work surface, high quality had for yrs. 2nd one I got as a pouffe top, turned it into a coffee table, and can remove for additional seating, looks elegant I think. Check your sizes before you buy.

I've used this on top of my induction hob for a year. It comes with little plastic feet which I recommend using. When the hob is on, I flip the board up and use it as a splashback, when the hob is off I use it as extra work space. It has stayed good as new, despite my husband being heavy handed when 'placing' items on it. I haven't had any problems with heat, but the photo I saw where it was burnt I noticed no feet!! I keep it clean with a spray of white vinegar and a soft cloth, so it's easy to maintain. No complaints whatsoever, and it fits over my hob perfectly.

Purchased this as a protector for our glass electric hob - more so to stop the cat walking on it when it’s cooling down. Offers good protection for this purchase, doubles as a chopping board and is very practical.

I bought this to cover a gas hob and support a portable double induction hob. I can't verify the heat resistance but I found that the glass scratches extremely easily. I had it turned upside down on a dining table to fix some self adhesive non slip pads and when I placed it on top of the gas hob I noticed a scratch about 50mm long on the top surface. Since then other scratches have also appeared. I did not expect glass to scratch that easily. I am pleased that I have not attempted to use it as a chopping board. Otherwise it is easy to clean, looks good and does the job for which I bought it.
