They have one at her nursery and she was so excited to have one of her own. We were able to play with it in the house with Mummy, Daddy and me when I was with them for a few days, and it came out of the toy box every day while I was there!! 😃

I used to love it when the teachers brought out the parachute in our PE lessons, it was always so fun, so when I saw this on Bolo I thought it would be brilliant for my child to play with with his friends.The parachute comes neatly folded in a clear ziplock bag. The material is like a windbreaker kind of material making it lightweight, which is required for it's use, and easy to clean. It's nice and large measuring appropriately 187cm in diameter and has 8 different sections meaning you can play cames with up to 8 kids at a time. The parachute is colourful and bright and the stitching is neat and secure so the handles shouldn't come apart easily.The only issue I have with this is that there are no instructions provided. Whilst it leaves play down to the imagination, there are set games known for the parachute and I remember in school the teacher choosing the different games and reading out the instructions and also instructions on how to fold it up neatly so there's not messy creases everywhere as this material creases easily, and this set comes with nothing like that. It may be a minor detail but for me it would make this more complete and for those not familiar with this toy may not know what kinds of things they can do with it.

I’m a teacher, and so a parachute is always a fun resource to have in my teacher supply.Although this is not the largest size, I’d say the 6ft diameter is still decent for small classes/smaller children.The material is as expected and very sturdy and will hold up against the pulling and shaking of the material.The colours are lovely and vibrant and make the parachute look typical for what you are expecting.There are handles at the edge for easier grip which makes its functionality much better than attempting to grip onto the edges.Some parachutes have a hole in the centre, this one does not. I think I prefer this as if you use a ball it means you don’t need to worry about it falling out.I think this is good value for money and I am happy with the product.

I didn’t get this for kids play initially. My “kid” is 20yrs old, so not sure he’d appreciate me pulling this out to play in the garden with.I got it for photography as had some idea on how to use it. However, it was spotted by my neighbours young daughter so I’ve a feeling I’ll be donating for her next birthday party when the time comes and I’m done with it. Although, there’s also a chance I’ll make it into something else or line a jacket or bag with it!Quality wise there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. Well stitched, not flimsy but still lightweight. Colours are nice and vibrant. I wish it had a little bag of some kind I could fold it up and put it away it to stop it getting all crumpled up, and that’s the only reason it loses a star. I’d happily pay another couple of pounds for a small bag.

I ordered the 6.5 ft, 8 handle parachute. This means it's suitable for our household to play together, with 3 children.We used to attend tots classes, and the parachute was always a hit. So it's nice to have a smaller option to keep at home.There are so many activities and games that you can use this one piece of material, keeping hours of fun available.It folds up small and compact, and is lightweight so easy to transport. It is a good quality piece of fabric that's easy to clean and can be used inside or outside. The colours are vibrant and engaging, too.
