Quite powerful for a little amp, and for the money it is amazing, playing music from the SD card is really handy. So in my workshop I can now play favourite music from the SD, remote sounds from the Pi 5, and I have my test mixer connected to the phono inputs - happy days (not tried the radio yet)Buy one!

Wow. I ordered this amp as I wanted a way of connecting my phone to something other than my car to listen to music.I brought some 3 way speakers locally and I just needed an amp with Bluetooth.When I got it out the box I immediately thought it was gonna be rubbish, It’s very small and lite and I wasn’t expecting much.I hooked it up to the speakers and started streaming from my phone.What a fantastic little amp. No buzz or hiss at low or high volume and it really packs a punch.I’m considering buying another one and a turntable to go in the living room for my wife.It’s a great little unit at a great price which punches well above its weight.

This is very easy to set up, it can take RCA cables and a headphone style jack. It has Bluetooth, which seems to connect very easily, no secure access though, it’ll connect with anything. The USB port input is odd, as it just plays regardless of what the device was displaying. The FM radio works okay and it comes with the antenna cable. Obviously high volume is suffers a bit, but overall sound quality is good. The bass and treble adjustment sounds a bit odd. Overall a great little amp, doesn’t take up much space and works as you’d expect.

This unit doesn't look like much but it packs some punch. Great value for money. It's enabled me to use a set of old wired speakers I had to stream music through them via Bluetooth. And the bonus is it has a tuner too. I have it rigged up in my garage and I'm well pleased with it. Just don't pair it up with monster speakers and expect it to drive them. It may well do but it drives my speakers really well. Highly recommended.

The set up was so simple and immediate that it surprised me. Connection to Bluetooth from an mp3 player was instantaneous. Volume levels and clarity better than I expected. I paid particular attention to the reproduction of numerous instruments. The timbre of trombones, trumpets, guitars, piano, was unbelievable for such a small amplifier, and vocals also were so clear. I could go further but risk being boring. All in all this unit excelled my expectations and is very good value for the money. I seldom do product revues, but I could not let this one go by.

Seriously blown away by how good this little thing is. Had an old micro stereo system with DAB which no longer picks anything up and CD player I don't really use. My old system had decent separate stereo speakers but no aux input, so purchased this so I can listen to BT music from my phone or get decent sound from the cheap telly in my man cave garage (good for when the footy is on and Mrs is watching something else on the big telly). Also plays back MP3s from SD card AND it has an FM radio, so all bases covered. Drives my old speakers well and no crackles or pops. You can actually make a pretty decent stereo with this and a couple of otherwise unwanted bookshelf speakers.

Product was shipped on time however it smelt like burnt electronics when it arrived. Less than a week after buying it, I had it quite high up which sounded horrific with vocals but alright for drum and bass (my main use). It decided to randomly power off and when I turned it back on it wouldn’t go past half volume without just cutting out. I decided to open it up because I thought I might be able to fix it, however a resistor had blown up (black and see through) without specialist equipment and knowing the resistors specifics I couldn’t have fixed it. Overall performance was quite underwhelming however at this price point what can I say. Bluetooth connectivity was surprisingly good however one think I noticed I played the same song on two phones both with default flat eq on Spotify and the phone yet they sounded completely different (unsure if this is the phones fault). The product will sit comfortably into the palm of your hand and did so with me and I have quite small hands. Product is somewhat easy to use however it does take some playing about as mine did not come with an instruction leaflet.Overall scoreQuality: 8/10Audio quality: 5/10Ease of use: 7/10Bass/trebble adjusters: 2/10 (peaked my subs massively)Lifespan: 0/10 (however was still useable after it had blown)

Amazing Little Amp

Like others who have posted reviews I’m feeding a set of old bookshelf speakers and it sounds pretty good all things considered. The only weird thing is you must manually set the max volume the remove will be able control. The remote let’s you turn the volume to 30, if you manually set 1/4 volume then 30 = 1/4 volume, if you manually set 1/2 volume then 30 = 1/2 volume.

We use the radio, line in and the bluetooth streaming. All work great, with some adjustments when switching between.Pros:+ The size is great, compact and easy to place+ can be mounted under counter (albeit all controls will be upside down)+ has enough power to drive the bookshelf speakers and Bose Acoustimass+ speaker wire connections are easy to operate+ good FM radio reception with antenna extended+ remote works reasonably well. Need to be line of sight to unit and fairly close e.g., 10ft+ treble and bass controls are niceNote: Have not tried:o the USB inputo the microphone inputMajor issues: NoneMinor issues:- The biggest issue is that the volume levels are not normalized when switching between radio, bluetooth and line in. This results in the output being either very quiet or super loud when switching modes.- We've found that the remote to our electric fireplace interferes with this unit and changes its mode when turning on/off the fireplace.- the corners near the mounting holes are fairly sharp and can easily scratch furniture or other softer surfaces.- the speaker output connectors are not labeled as left and right. However, they are left and right respectively as you look at the back of the unit.- if set in the open it has some fairly unsightly white writing and figures on the otherwise black outer casing.
