Read that others were having trouble with screws falling out so was a bit dubious. When it arrived I found the screws were a bit loose so a quick tighten up and works like a dream. I know you shouldn't have to tighten screws up but if 30 seconds is all it takes to fix problem then worth it because it's a nice press.

Initially I was a little wary on how good this would be given the low price and some of the reviews reported issues with the screws. I have used it a few times now for sublimation and I am impressed with the final results. I you would be using this infrequently I don't think you can go wrong with this heat press. However if you needed it to run a business and would be in use daily for hours at a time I honestly can't say how it would hold up, so you might be better in investing in a more industrial heat press.

I saw the other low star reviews but thought I'd give it a chance. I shouldn't have, this thing is very dangerous. The top part of it is not heat proof, so the screws that hold it all together, they get very hot (obviously) and they melt the plastic that they are screwed into! Thus, they all fall out.I've had this press for only 2 months and I've used it twice. The first time I used it, it was great and I didn't understand why it had low stars. But now I know. Half way through using it, I lifted it up and 5 out of 12 screws simply fell out. Luckily the other screws held on in there long enough for me to take the press off my project and get it back on its stand, where all the remaining screws fell out. I was very lucky those last screws held up for a couple more seconds, otherwise it would have gone horribly wrong and I would have ended up in A&E due to burns. I am amazed that no one has gotten hurt... Yet. I suspect it's only a matter of time.And when you try to discuss this with the seller, I was told "maybe a screw is loose, just tighten it"Erm, it's not just 1 screw that's a bit loose, all 12 screws completely fell out and as they have melted the plastic, they can't be screwed back in.The seller is selling a faulty, dangerous product. A personal injury claim waiting to happen.

very pleased with this heat press, it is perfect for my crafts, the only thing i wasnt happy with is the instruction leaflet, the writing is very small, but i would reccomend and would buy again.

I haven't been working with Cricut equipment for too long, but when I saw this product, I had to buy it. If you buy the Cricut iron, which looks the same as this, you pay at least 3x more, and this iron is larger than the more expensive ones. I read in the reviews for this, that the screws come out, I have checked mine and the screws are all in place and tight, I would recommend checking the screws every so often.
